You seem to be missing the point here, but if you think Florida is that good, than make it a play. Make any play. Show this forum you know SOMETHING about football. I have, my records speaks for itself. Either help add to the forum, or go talk with the rest of your gel head florida fans.

I don't make picks b/c who am I trying to impress? I see it as a waste of time to do writeups and make picks. Especially when/if you get hot and then have a bad week and have to deal with some moron calling you out, it's just not worth it to me. I just don't see the value I guess. In any case, I'm up big on the year b/c of this forum. Jlip, listen you're a great capper and in fact I've tailed you a couple times this year. Good luck this weekend. I like UGA a lot, but don't have a feel for UF/Vandy.

I understand what you mean. I dont post too much as far as write ups go and luckily havent had too much trash thrown my way. Mostly cause I keep a low profile...until this post, which has received attention. Either way, good luck the rest of this season and in the national championship, where i would expect florida to be a large favorite over Penn St.

Thanks, but there's still sooo much football to be played. Good luck to you as well.

1) Meyer will 100% lose to richt again. I will make a wager at your price on that. (shit, just make it a 2 year future bet)

2) Urban Crier will be gone from Florida within the next 5 years. He will leave for the coaching job at Notre Dame, where he will bitch to the media and the nation some more.

Dude, stick your capping and stop talking out of your ass please. Meyer had the Notre Dame job if he wanted it when he was considering UF and them, and chose UF. Also, if you consider lobbying and sticking up for your team to rightfully play in the National Championship as bitching to the media, then I'll take the bitching over a coach who blatantly lies over a lame incident such as stomping on the field. I am sure Richt would most certainly bitch to the media, but he hasn't been given that opportunity yet as evidenced by the amount of national titles he has guided UGA to.

ND2000, just wanted to say great call on the Wisky MSU game. I would not listen and the game played out just like you said. It was a good weekend none the less so lets keep it going!!:toast:

Wisconsin should have won that game. How did they manage to lose?? That game was a microcosm of their season. They continue to steal defeat in the face of victory.

Whatever. People who are looking merely at the ydg numbers are not accounting for hidden yardage - like 88yds on an INT return. Fact is UF got a very short field 4 times or so and that is a big reason why UGA outgained UF. Georgia didnt stop UF from doing much of anything and if the ball had been on the other side of the field, then UF would have easily outgained UGA. 3 times UF had the ball to start inside of UGAs20. Not hard to get outgained like that. So, that makes it a meaningless stat.

Florida has outscored last 4 opponents (Georgia, KY, LSU and Arkansas) 201-43. Their avg. margin of victory in these 4 games is 39.5 points. Exactly why is it that they can't cover this spread? Just curious to thoughts.

Florida has a history of playing bad coming off big wins so I like Vandy here. I will say that Florida has rediculous special teams and play makers everywhere on the feild so they can easily cover large margins but I have a pretty good track record when it comes to the Gators.

I just don't think Florida will be 100% focussed for this road game and the motivation factor is with Vandy. Have not made it a play yet but I def. lean Vandy here.

I disagree. I think Meyer wants to wrap up the East pronto and they will be ready. It was reasonable to expect UF to lag in the KY game, but they came in and blew them out from the first snap. Vandy, like Kentucky, has inflated defensive numbers. KY has not given up more than 24pts all year - except to UF (63). Vandy is in the same boat. Vandy has no offense at all and can't reasonably be expected to score over 14pts. 38-14 covers. I think the score is more like 45-10. Meyer also knows he has to score big to impress voters to keep hope alive.

Is Vandy/UF the best game on the board? Absolutely not. I have looked at it for hours. Could Florida cover...yes. Would I be surprised to see florida win by 21 and not cover?? No. Once I talk to some folks in Athens, I will be able to get a better idea as to the team moral etc for the kentucky/UGA. I think that one has a much more favorable line for us to gamble on.

Finally, I was in the front row of the stadium in Jax last week. We missed two 34 yard field goals and a wide open Chandler in the endzone (no thanks to the UF Defense). The halftime score should have easily been 14-13 with UF scoring 1 TD on a 35 yard field (where they need two 3rd down and a 4th down conversion to get it). If you truely believe florida was THAT good, bet em against vandy. I wish I could say florida is that good and make easy money, but i just dont think they are. Thats the last i will say about the game.

Biggest Pick Of The Week For ME!!

Let me preface this by saying that I'm a Noles fan, and whenever Florida loses it brings a smile to my face. Having said that, Florida will absolutly annihilate Vandy!!
Something like 55 or 65 -6!!

Vandy was on a real roll for the first half of the season.
Right now Florida is playing very hard but 25 pts is a lot to cover.
I think Vandy will be way fired up for the upset and will play very hard.
Vandy covers +25 and for shit and giggle I would throw somehing on the ML with Vandy.
