Sherman, I saw that as well, which differs from an earlier story I read on him. I also noticed the Marlins organization said they don't care if he stands or sits during god bless america because he's free to choose whatever he wants to do. It will be interesting to see how it goes over with the fans and teammates in Florida, obviously it wasn't any big deal in Toronto because he's outside of the States, and it only became a big deal when he went to New York for a series. His american teammates on the Jays didn't care, and I assume his Marlin teammates won't either, but how will it go over with the fans there. It probably all depends on how well he plays down there you think?? If he struggles early and doesn't appear to be earning that big contract, you can be assured the boobirds will be out. I still think this Marlins lineup is gonna score a lot of runs this year looking at that lineup, will their pitching be enough though??

Pitching is questionable because of injury possibilities. If the staff stays healthy, they should be fine. But another decent started or middle reliever would be a great help.

no question that pitching is the key. the loss of pavano hurts but, they did replace him with al leiter...a solid starter.

the bullpen short be better than last year as well with mota for the whole season.

Well considering I got in right after the news at 22-1 to win the NL and 6-1 to win the East. And Olympic's odds now sit at +195 for Florida to win the East and +625 for the NL I'd say your completely wrong about the value being gone right after the news breaks.
