Sherman, I saw that as well, which differs from an earlier story I read on him. I also noticed the Marlins organization said they don't care if he stands or sits during god bless america because he's free to choose whatever he wants to do. It will be interesting to see how it goes over with the fans and teammates in Florida, obviously it wasn't any big deal in Toronto because he's outside of the States, and it only became a big deal when he went to New York for a series. His american teammates on the Jays didn't care, and I assume his Marlin teammates won't either, but how will it go over with the fans there. It probably all depends on how well he plays down there you think?? If he struggles early and doesn't appear to be earning that big contract, you can be assured the boobirds will be out. I still think this Marlins lineup is gonna score a lot of runs this year looking at that lineup, will their pitching be enough though??
