tough week for the gators ... and pregnant women
Gators defensive back Deiondre Porter was arrested this morning after Gainesville police say he held a gun to the head of his pregnant girlfriend and later fired the gun in her direction. Porter booked into an Alachua County jailat 11:19 a.m. on three charges, including felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and felony shooting into or throwing deadly missiles into dwellings. He was held on $160,000 bond.
The confrontation happened on Sept. 29, and spanned two different arguments at the girlfriend’s apartment, one at 2:15 a.m. and another at about 7:15 a.m., according to the sworn complaint filed by police. Both times, Porter accused his girlfriend, who was 10 weeks pregnant at the time, of being intimate with one of his teammates, the girlfriend told police. The girlfriend said she insisted that wasn’t true.
During the first fight, Porter held a gun to her head and “continued to demand that the victim tell the truth,” the complaint said, but he eventually put it down and said they would try again in the morning (he slept in her bedroom, she slept in the living room). In the second one, Porter allegedly shot in her direction, hitting a wall she was leaning against, then left the apartment.

you've been around here long enough to know how it is with lsu and arky fans. they disappear for 11 months then crawl out of their trailers in mid-october (only if they're unbeaten of course) and hang around for a few weeks before failing to cross the 50...then disappear for another year or two
