Mr. Duke I beg to differ..World Gym is a great facility and has a large membership, with good parking..But..go see the new facility at the Hotel Intercontinental..Not as large obviously, but has the best equipment in town..along with the membership which is quite expensive, they throw in some perks..the use of the redesigned heated pool is one..steam rooms and jacuzzis are state of the art..take a look and then you decide..

With multispa you have the extra option of other gyms, escazu, cipreses, so whenever you feel like checking new hotties, you can always check the other gyms, i know cipreses is not even close but hey, you never know where you might end up, nice to have the options. Just make sure they explain how to get access to all the gyms, it's only under some forms of pays, i had to find out the hard way, when they told me at corobici that i was not under one of those pay methods that allow you to enter all the gyms.

I would avoid fitzsimmons just because the road that it is on is the worst road in costa rica traffic wise. Plus they are widening that road and doing construction its a nightmare to make a left out of that place. Also the corobici has a pool and a steam room and jacuzzi. Much better imo...

Wow....I paid $1,000 for a yearly membership at World Gym for me and my girlfriend.

I haven't seen this facility but that is pricey man. I would have to put my kids to sell chiclets and flowers at the Escazu toll booth to afford this.

not for nothing, hands down, the InterContinental fitness and health spa is the nicest facility in the country..pricey but includes the pool..
