Like others, I like your style too Viking and welcome aboard. Just to throw out some debate here in the off day, Id like to throw in my $.02 to see what you think and pick your brain.
I actually think Guthrie pitched well last outing against a really good hitting Oriole team. I havnt looked at the numbers, going off memory, but I recall a lot of swing and misses (not for strike outs), and only giving up couple hits. In my opionion, Guthrie really came to his own this season and I think SF pitchers park is a great place for him to pitch. Side note, I remember hearing something about his bay area ties so this is somewhat of a homecoming for him. On a huge stage against Balt, he shut them down.
I see this game being low scoring and Im LOVING the under. Tim Hudson pitching his first WS game. Also pitched well at home this year. Both Pitchers should be on point tomorrow in SF.

Hey Inittowinit, thanx for the warm welcome. Sorry it took so long to respond but I own a restaurant and posting is difficult during the "busy" hours. I usually try to post mornings or mid afternoons unless I have a day off.
You definitely made some valid points about Guthrie having a good year. He only gave up 3 hits in 5 innings to the Orioles last time out but I recall lots of hard hit balls right at fielders.Orioles hitters struggled at the end of the year and the post season and these patient ,
experienced Giants hitters are a different animal. Current Giants players have a .308 average against Guthrie for whatever that's worth.
Also, the hot bat of Royals DH Billy Butler will be out of the starting lineup with pitchers batting. But beware, if Guthrie does go 5 strong innings, Royals bullpen has an advantage over Giants depleted bullpen.
Dont think that will happen. Giants home field advantage plus a composed pro like Hudson who has waited for this chance his whole career carry the Giants to the win.
