Clevfan, don't try and play Good Kid with me. You are a chit stirrer and that was your attempt here. Maybe if it was not for your past history of trouble making, things would be looked at a bit differently. You sowed your reputation, now you have to live with it.

Let me again apologize on behalf of the Rx for our error in promoting Panam so highly.

general-

I don't think anyone wants more apologies. I think people want

a. to recover their funds from PanAm (which apparently Roberto is thankfully working on); and

b. Some assurance that this won't happen to them again, which is why escrow/player protection is the topic du jour.

I agree that pointing fingers is getting nothing accomplished. At the same time, I think all of this discussion is really telling us that the players are begging for a way to guarantee that their money is indeed safe when they send it offshore

General, I could careless what you or anyone else has to say about my "past history" of troublemaking. If you think that I have done more harm than good by going forward with the things that I have, then so be it. But I assure you, there are many days people thank me for "stirring" things up

Clevfan, You are not all bad, but I think you could use a bit more tact.

You know I like you.

Drunkguy,

What if I came and told you there is no way to assure you that your money is 100% when you send it offshore? Because if you ask me that is the truth no matter what anyone tells you. Something can always go wrong no matter who you deal with. Now sure Shrink and others might have been a bit positive on Panam, but lets just assume going forward no one will make that mistake again. Escrow/player protection won't make a lot of posters happy because the only way you can do it is to set the limits very low, to the point where lots of people will complain. This is the reality of offshore gaming, we all have to deal with it and make our deposits accordingly. If you really don't like it, tell your Congresspeople about it because in the end the safest situation we could have doesn't exist thanks to them telling you they know better than you do how you should live your life.
