trust me I've played with a local before...and then busted the guy and it took me a year a half to get paid...with a reputable online book or a actual sportsbook you don't have to worry about getting paid...the main two reasons people play with locals is that they can play on credit (no cash up front) and they can take advantage of bad numbers...I don't recommend doing so at all...

oh forget that shit. not getting paid is grounds for beating an ass.

Hey guys, i've never bet with an actualy bookie, and i would like to start, just wondering how i can find one........any help would be great......chicagoland area

I have told my story ad nauseaum so I won't repeat it, but PM for the details...short version: lose 1500 first week to bookie and pay within 3 days.... next 5 weeks crush him to the tune of around 14k (give or take)...bookie doesn't pay EVER...finally I settle for 2.....end of story

lesson: just go offshore and don't worry about never seeing your winnings...5 dimes and betjam have been GREAT in terms of payout...even have relationship with creditwagering, and they are totally legit as well...whatever your decision, best of luck sir

wow, miamiboy...and for every stories there are like us there are hundreds that aren't told...good advice telling people to play with reputable books and stay away from locals...
