I think you'll like Popeye's better. But, anything is better than KFC.

Top 3 Fast Food Fried Chicken joints for me...Church's is hands above all, then Popeye's and Bojangles is a close 2nd. Bojangles does put a little spice in theirs though that I like...

Popeyes is so overated .
They have one every 50 feet where I live.

Too bad you guys never had the chance to experience Popeyes back when they were good.
When they were just a Louisiana local chain.
Popeyes completely went to shit when they went national .

Now Churches has passed them up.

When Al Copeland owned Popeyes they were awesome.
The biscuits use to melt in your mouth.
The spicy chicken was actually spicy.
The pieces were large and juicy .

We just got a Chick-Fil-A, and the lines are crazy every single day. I like it, but I've never understood the obsession. It tastes just like the Southern Style chicken sandwich McDonald's used to have. Sonic was the same way. Lines all day everyday for two months, and now nobody goes there. Krispy Kreme was the same. Nobody ever goes to KK anymore, I have no idea how they are in business.

Krispy Kreme was and kind of still is Big as a Smaller shop. But when they started to build these stand alone places, they all went down hill here in NY.
It was a huge money maker when they started selling them at 7-11 and some supermarkets, but the KK stores were a bust.

They were great back in the day on the way home from a Night Drinking... But you can't eat a lot of them

my wife was obsessed with this place everytime she was up north...so I eventually went with her and bought in to the hype.

they are regional-izing their menu as well as ATX has a shake variant and a burger that includes sausage from Lockhart, TX (greatest area for bbq in the world)

Finally had this for the first time in vegas this week.

Amazing. Burgers and fries both. No fast food we have in the Midwest compares imo. Culvers is a distant second. Lived up to the hype and then some

I did both animal style . No complaints on the burger but fries sucked

We got some fries animal style and some regular and they were much better regular.
