In my country a .500 record is a winner. The glass is half full if you know what I mean. I don't know how they do things in Russia (preussen), but in this country we speak English and hold faith in verified winners...

You and when I say you I'm talking to legend and Liquid because your the same person are a fvckin idiot.....500 is ok but not when the bigger play loses. That works for people in Russia, America, Africa, and everywhere else in the world. Your down 2.5 units which means you are still a loser. You also keep referring to everyone as clientele, which makes absolutely no sense because noone follows your plays or pays you for them. Your just a waste of time and space. Even if you won 100 games in a row people will still hate you because your an ass.

I don't know where or what the fantasy land you seem to live in is, but in the real world a .500 record means 'no edge' and is a significant loser because of the juice.

I don't know how they do things in Russia (preussen), but in this country we speak English and hold faith in verified winners...

Once more, I have nothing to do with Russia, and if you really meant your earlier statement that Russia used to be a component of Prussia then you are even more ignorant than I already thought you to be.
I do agree that one should have faith in verified winners. Unfortunately you, Sir, are neither a winner nor are you verified.

sdf, it's a play on words....bazaar is a festival, somewhat like a carnival. My colleague was making a clever quip which you clearly did not comprehend.

I have decided to take a more modest approach today, I started off as a small loser, it is true, but it is a long season and I guaranDAMNtee if you follow my plays throughout the year you will hitat 57.5% AT LEAST. That being said, I make no guarantees today, tomorrow, or even Saturday (my hottest day year in year out) but I do hope that some of you will hop on my moneyboat as it makes it's way down the Ol' Brown Rivah, The Mighty Mississippi, The Old MAN... I've been analyzing the lines today, and the idea of the Mississippi River constantly flowing, never ceasing, maybe the most powerful entity in America has been assaulting my thoughts. I hope to be as a powerful a capper as the Mississippi is a river, and so today's plays will reflect that. I hope to follow teams which are steady for 40 minute, and continually win by comfortable margins throughout a year, tha being said onto the pick

UCLA -15 (4 units): Both of these teams are a bit like the mighty miss, althought I may put UCLA in the category of the Nile or Amazon. Still, these teams play similar styles and I just think UCLA does it better than Miami in every aspect. Ben Howland is an amazing defensive coach and I think the Redhawks are outmatched at every position, given the similarity in style, I see UCLA being better troughout the entire game.

Welcome back loyal clients...I know you have been drooling like Pavlov's Mutts with anticipation for the first sweet lil' arse college plays of the year. If you aren't familiar, let me give you a little background...

In 23 years of college basketball capping, I have never ONCE had a losing season. It is truly my bread and butter, my nomme de plume, my ham and swiss sandwich if you will allow me that metaphor.:nohead: I follow college hoops like it is my job, because, well it is my job. All my other betting is mostly for a little side action and entertainment, I like to think I keep myself treading water, but when college hoops begins it is like a school of blue marlin all come up and shoot my ass into the stratosphere above the ocean water I've been treading.

So, clients of mine, hold on to your hat and get ready for the roller coaster ride of your life, only difference is that this roller coaster goes straight to the heavens and never comes down!

If you want, just sit back and watch the cash build the first few weeks before you put your hard earned, lunchpail to work, dough on the line, riding my sweet lil' arse. But I'd advise hopping on the moneytrain TONIGHT, because sometimes when the conductor gets a' going its hard to find room, even in the caboose! I know everything about college basketball, literally, and I prove it with ice cold picks so chilly they are 0* Kelvin!

Record= 0-0

Picks: (Units range from 1-10)

Northeastern +5 (5 units) : This team is going to contend in the very difficult CAA this year. (CAA is my sweet lil' specialty BTW LOL! :dancefoolI see the league getting 2 bids this year and I believe this will be the start of good things out of conference. The CAA as a whole may be a little down this year but the top tier of teams (VCU, ODU, Northeastern) should be exceptionally strong. Coach Bill Coen has a ton of his players back this year and he always has his team play tough defense and smart, efficient offense. This team is typically very strong on the road because they must be, their home court advantage is abysmal. Michigan is young while Northeastern is a veteran squad. Matt Janning looks like Zach from Saved by the Bell: College Years, but might be the second best player in the CAA behind the Dagger, Eric Maynor. Look for this game to come down to the wire just because Michigan's team ha a lot of athleticism, but I'd cap it as a pick'em, so I see a lot of VALUE with the points here.

Southern Illinois -4.5 (3 units): The Salukis were kind of like the ugly mutt at the pound last year, but sme sweet soul has adopted their ugly ass, despite the ticks all over it's ass and the patches of disgusting hairless, pink skin. They are no longer afraid of getting their ass beat in the backyard chained up to a water spicket and are now fattened up and ready to growl. In all seriousness I expect the Salukis to be much improved this year. Lowery is too good of a coach and defense is too important in college hoops for them to have another down year. Expect them to dominate the tempo of this game against the high octane Minutemen at home. I expect them to win in a dogfight about 62-50. The Salukis were inexperienced last year and many of those underclassmen wil play crucial minutes this year. Mullins is an amazing defensive player and floor leader and will control the game. UMASS with a new coach will need some time to become a cohesive unit.

EVERYONE, I'm begging you, get on board tonight, you won't regret it, follow every single one of my picks this year and I guarantee 57.5 percent, that's a guarantee, with a warranty AND a disclaimer, suck on that lollipop sweet prince clients.

There should be a liberal camp where all of them can be together and dance around without subjecting all of us to their secret obama potion.

Legend isn't a democrat to my knowledge, I believe he once said he sided with libertarian party views. Wayne Allyn Root was the vice presidential candidate for the Libertarian party this past election. Food for thought.

Pimpy, I swear to the moderators at this great forum therx.com, that if the mavericks lose this game tonight, I will never EVER post here again. I can't speak for liquid return because he is a separate, autonomous person. If the sweet lil' mavericks lose, I'll ride off into the mauve sunset, with a tear in my eye knowing that I will never again be able to service my clients.

The facts of the matter are this though, there is no chance in hell the fucking mavs lose

seriously, be a man of your words.

I'll tell you what's a pure money observation....that UCLA has moved to -16...you know what that is loyal clientele? That's called maximizing value. It's one of the most important elements of capping college hoops, a sweet lil' hobby I've been dominating for the last 23 years.

I've maximized the value for this game and I look forward to getting back above .500, and I know everyone following my picks feels the same way. Thanks so much for supporting me, and supporting my value maximization, it will all pay out on your local's pay day when he comes crawling to your front door with a briefcase full of cold hard cash, whatever day that may be for your LOSER LOCAL! Because who's the winner tonight clients, its you guys!!! Go BRUINS!

By the way, Basketcase is actually my favorite movie....How bout the scene where he is carrying Belial around the city with his new best gal and he starts getting pissed off at him because he is getting jealous, that's simply Hilary Rodham (that means funny as dogshit) isn't it??

I do agree that seeing the line move against you after you bet is generally a good sign. However, when the team you took at -15 comes close to losing the game outright I have my doubts that there really was value on the pick.
Seems you gave out a loser again, Legend. Fortunately no-one in this forum is stupid enough to follow you (I hope).

At last, the first full day of college basketball action, Look for more plays as I slum the underworld, killing various nocturnal sewer animals who are simply misjudged lines waiting to be destroyed.

Record: 1-2 (-6.9 Units)

Don't worry loyal clientele, the day has come....our independence day, with a full slate of games I can't help but leap on top of the value like a wild mustang across the Oklahoma plains

Only one play so far, certainly more to come as i put my heart and soul into these line, but it's a big one that I really really love. As I said I am a sort of CAA sommelier, and this team is like an underrated Willammette Valley Pinot Noir

WILLIAM AND MARY +10.5 (8 units):
Biggest play of the year so far so I will gve a lengthy write up to explain my rationale. It starts with Coach Shaver, this guy has been at W&M for 5 years and the team has improved each and every year. I honestly think he may be the best coach in the league, even with Anthony Grant casting a tall shadow. This team has a bunch of fairly non-athletic white kids who probably walk around Colonial Williamsburg with tri-cornered hats badgering the blacksmith for a reach-around...but they play hard as shit for Coach Shaver and they get the job done on both sides of the floor. A Shaver team has never once relied on its talent, its always hardwork and gutsy play, but this year the team actually has talent! The freshmen coming in are getting rave reviews and Shaver has finally been able to attract some real talent given his run the past 5 years. Look for them to be a big surprise in the CAA throughout this year. I predict a top 3 finish for this squad in the CAA, which is quite a stretch, but I really believe Shaver to be one of the best coaches in the country, and I fully expect some big name teams to be calling him soon. As for Penn State...I just don't see that this team is going to be Dechellis' breakthrough. He has proven to be a fairly poor coach in his tenure there, and its not like they have some superstar recruits walking through that door. Honestly I don't know how this line is so large except for simple name and conference recogniton alone. I think William & Mary is the better team and PSU should only be a 2 or 3 point favorite. Look for a close game, and the disparity in coaching should be evident from the tip off. Shaver will have his team ready.

More picks to come later but this is the big kahuna for the day:hikitty:

South Florida -11 (4 units): Expect this team to be better again this year. Stan Heath is a good motivator and I really like Dominique Jones to continue his strong scoring. Team return 4 out of 5 starters and they were competitive in many games in the incredibly strong Big East. I expect them to move up a couple spots in the Big East rankings this year. Matt Doherty is a terrible coach. He feels good because this is the first time he has reached a third year at a program, in 4 tries, that is simply pathetic. Double Digit win for the Bulls here for sure. I expect them to dominate the boards and get a ton of steals and blocks. They are just much more athletic and I think much better this year.

UNCW Pick em (2 units): Not saying this team is gonna be very good this year, because they aren't. But they have good incoming freshman, and the Trask is such a hard place to play. Appy St. is nothing special either, so I think they will win.

Clemson -18 (2 units): Hofstra loses superstar Antoine Agudio and really all they have this year will be CAA freshman of the year last year Charles Jenkins. I think Clemson is absolutely loaded this year and I think they will just totally outman the Pride on the boards. This could get ugly early, but 18 is a lot and Pecora is a hell of a coach, so only 2 units.

Hop on the moneytrain, it leaves the station this evening and I really feel a HUGE night! Thanks for listening loyal clientele
