as dante and i have posted - instead of ONE $5k cash door prize - would rather see that split into 5, $1k prizes so more people can enjoy the winnings, but...
i just made my flight plans friday so i will be there with friends by Noon, friday.
gotta be there so shrink i can congratulate each other on being 2 of the only 3 smart people here (surf - being the other) who stated the lakers were the team to beat after knocking off the spurs - and were also the 3 who caught the most crap saying lakers would kill minny in G1 - and the series - only to be proven right!) and i gotta show up so sick can buy me a drink like he promised after the bolts knock off the flypeople tonite in G7.
i also gotta show up in case we play that rumored hoops game - because seeing who showed up last year - i gotta have the best game of anyone there. the last time i saw that many pasty white people in 1 spot was on a national geographic special on polar bears! if vegas had another power failure while we were there - we could have used just about every guy there to as a flashlight - they were that white!

I quit flying after 9/11. So I could drive I guess. I could make more money betting preseason NFL then I could if I won door prizes. Would like to play couple pickup games, I modeled my game after Bill Laimbeer. Poker tourney sounds like fun also. Heavy lean towards go. Decisions, decisions...OF
I have no fear of flying, never have. Just a ton of bad experiences, when I flew frequently. I will be in a 2003 3/4 ton Chevy crew cab. People should be watching out for me. Money is not a factor, unless I miss out on NFL preseason middles. Last few visits I flew, should be decent change of pace...OF
I work for an airline based out of Vancouver and fly usually three times a week from Vancouver Island to Vancouver, short route but airline safety is the highest its ever been. Dante you are completely right about NOW it is safer than driving.
OFROG- Theres also nothing like a good truck. I am currently driving a 2002 F150, nice truck, just no balls..Looking at a new dodge, but too hefty of a tag right now at 38,000.

No fear of safety, should have said, detest the hassles of flying, which are much worse now. Too bad you are so far away. Have a lot of connections for Fords and Chevys. No Dodge though. But if you needed cheap, in Calif with Calif emissions, could get you insider pricing. Should be a nice drive...OF
OF- Right On. Thanks man. Flying can definetly be a hassle sometimes. For me it takes 4 hours to get to the ferry, followed by a 1hr 30 min ferry ride, then a 40 minute drive into downtown Vancouver.Whereas, i can fly and be there in 45 mins. It s really a convience thing for me. Are you going to the Rx BAsh?
Kermit: It should be a good game today. I would like to see Tampa win. Regardless of who wins I will be in Calgary for a game forsure.
