Final Game under 2.5 No brainer ???

If it's 2.5 (would not surprise me if it ends up 2.0) regardless if it's -200 or even -300 under would be the play but whom and I to say.

Guess these days it's all about defense, score first = you win.

Foolish me, thinking it would come out at 2.5 = just like all the other previous games (saw 2.0 a couple of times) and then the final ends up being 1.5.
Fair to say the books got hammered on the unders, especially on these last 2 games?? Thus, they make it 1.5. MF's :nopityA:

Just seeing/reading the 3 of us chiming in = seems like the consensus will be the books won't be getting much action on a total of 1.5, thus, they won't get a chance to try and recoup their losses since it had to be something like 75% of these games results came in under 2.5.

Sort of like when you see those MLB games with totals of 7.
Your gut might say "7 !!!!, going to take the over" sure enough, the game ends up being a 2-1 or 3-2 affair, sometimes but not always.

Last week with Randy Johnson/Yankee game on the mound the total was 10 at -150, in Johnson's previous start he was awesome. Don't see too many total's at -150's in MLB, sure enough, the Mets light him up. Think the final was 8-3 but the # was at 10 by the 5th or 6th inning if I'm not mistaken. No, i did not play that game. My initial gut said go under = i was wrong, glad i passed.

Its almost impossible to make a wager using that logic I did only 1 in my life, I took the Giants Ravens Superbowl over 30 something because I thought it was impossible to score more than 10 pts in that one

Yes, it's good to follow the obvious under, but after the first goal scores one has to pray for no more goals.

over's +101 now. Thinking of either dutching that & the tie-- letting one goal game beat me...OR that with +2.5 @ +260...

Just don't feel as safe taking even that under here, as in other sports. All for a 37% profit too...& they wonder why Americans don't warm up to betting it-- at least allow same-game parlaying...maybe then...

Generally speaking the 3-4 games go over. My guess is b/c they don't really care whether or not they win, tend to play more open and aggressive games and the tackling is light due to fear of injury in what is essentially a friendly.

Agree that the over in the 3rd place game seems to be the obvious choice. Especially with the pressure off of the Germans now.

Under 1.5 for me. Remember, this is only for the first 90 minutes plus stoppage time. These 2 teams are going to play conservatively in the finals. Italy's defense will stop France from scoring.

You're right fhm. I was looking at the 3-1 France victory over Spain and seeing that it happened at 92+ minutes thinking that it was extra time. Same thing for the 1-0 Italy victory over Australia. Both were included in bets.
