yea ... Wake has impressed me through the year ... but they are not a great shooting team. I see them getting to Louisville. If Wake gets to Louisville, that will be Louisville's toughest match up (in my opinion)

HOW DID THE BIG TEN GET 3 OF THE LAST 10 SPOTS. SAME THING LAST YR. WHO DOES THEIR COMMISSIONER BLOW????

After watching so many high seeds bomb out in their conference tournaments, I thought this could really be the year of cinderella.
but in the end my bracket looks more vanilla than ever. I think syracuse as a 3 is a big reach. But then they were given 2 favorable match ups.

i think Duke is the worst 2 seed out there, yet they are given 2 basically "home games" at the Greensboro coliseum and ditto for Villanova in Philly. otherwise i would have taken Ucla to beat them.

Louisville won the "best conference" regular season and conference title. The only major (BCS) conference team to do so. Carolina is the best of the ACC. So I'll have to have Louisville Over the Tarheels in the final.

midwest:
ARIZONA over UTAH
The team that doesn't seem to belong always seems to win 1 game to justify the selection

USC over Boston College

SIENNA i would have loved them to give Wake fits but again Ohio state (the 8 seed) gets to basic home game in Dayton.WHO'DTHEY BLOW?

WEST:
A&M OVER BYU The aggies can win or lose this game by 15-20. BYU has little depth. the aggies need to play fast paced and try to draw fouls. BYU like Utah is a good team in a lousy conference.

MARYLAND OVER CAL

CAL can be erratic and lets teams hang around

EAST

No big surprises. If it wasn't for the 2 home games for Duke and Nova, i would have taken Ucla in the elite 8 against Pitt. instead the only mild surprise is TENN OVER OK STATE (only because of Bruce Pearl)

SOUTH:

WESTERN KENTUCKY/ ILLINOIS
the hilltoppers are always causing havoc in these tourneys. How did the Illini win over 20 games????

TEMPLE..Still undecided but the OWLS have a terrific coach and are playing great ball in their conference Tourney.

good luck to all:toast:

I think West Virginia takes care of Dayton and the winner of the Kansas vs North Dakota State game fairly easy. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see WVU go to the elite 8.

I am still struggling with the East
I can see Pitt, UCLA, Duke & Villanova all coming out of that region

How come nobody is giving Kansas any weight? I could be WAY-OFF, but I think Miss St. is going to make a good run at Washington, maybe even win. Anyone think I crazy?

Kansas is a little too young. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Texas make a deep run. That's going to be a real test for Duke.

fill me in here. Why you like the zags so much.

rank in the top 10 in both off eff and def eff.

have the most qualifiers to win the whole thing and get to the final four.

style of play matches up perfectly with unc, that's why they get by them imo.

just an off the wall pick to win my office pool :103631605
