Dam whose the Boss man here. Just make a decision. Ok I will. Just lock them to the lower half of the second page . So we dont have to waste our time going from page to page looking for response or new post. If others want to read them they will know where to go. this forum is so we can communicate with each other. People who are here posting need to be the ones who in this case accommodated. Dont make it harder to post or retrive the post of others. Those who dont post , I know that it is easier to have it their for you cause all the information is in one place, but it can be locked on the second page.

The threads are really not much of an issue anymore as far as the NFL is concerned. The regular season ending means no more than 4 threads locked at the top of the page this week.

Definitely like them here. Quick way to get a quick feel of sentiment on the games. It's easier for someone else just to scroll below them than for the rest of us to search everywhere to find them.

I'd love to hear the reasoning of the people who don't like them.

We are all here to help eachother right?

Why would you be against somthing that helps us all?

yes......it helps keep the info condensed. why have 10 threads when you can have one? they dont get in the way of anything and they are usually unbolded within a reasonable amount of time. they are also easy to find when you're in a hurry.

How about just creating a subforum for this section that contains the polls? This may not be possiable with this forum software, if so then I suggest we change over to IPB

I don't really have an opinion on them, but if you do continue to keep them then I would suggest putting naked women pics in the posts...everyone would be a winner!!!

I'm looking at some of these game threads right now and on NFL Sunday, the only responses in some of them is "bump"

Not a lot of great information there.

I don't like them - they just get in the way - the individual threads are by far more useful and informative. Put them on page 3 or 4 if you want to keep them.

I agree with 5team when he says that they are good as long as they are limited. Having 16 NFL threads is just excessive. How about just locking the major matchups? For instance, this week many of the games were pointless with no effect on the playoff picture and using a lot of backups, etc. Don't bother making those sticky.

But maybe the Cinci/Cle game since it had playoff implications. Maybe always do the Monday night game and Sunday night game.

I think if you limit it to 3-4 pinned threads, everyone will be happy. I usually don't read the pinned threads anyway, but I can't imagione that they ALL have good information.
