I respected fieldgoalz handicapping. He did a good job during conference play. I agree maybe he got out of his comfort zone with tourney plays and maybe he got an offer he could not refuse.

There's nothing wrong with going tout. But, there is also nothing wrong with calling touts out for being frauds and losers!!

i'm not gonna lie either. i made major cashflow when he was posting his plays. you just gotta catch the streaks and ride it til the wheels fall off. why he went out & started charging for his plays is his business. it is what it is. everyone caps differently, does their own homework, reads forums, tails n fails or never fails. basically boils down to being grateful and appreciative for the winning posts. once it hits rock bottom n starts goin on a losing streak the trolls pop up like flowers...

Honestly some of you should quit gambling today, if you think because some capper goes on a hot streak, they suddenly deserve to be paid. Thats pure insanity. Cappers go hot and cold, one 3 month streak during basketball season, doesnt make any person an expert capper.
Anybody that even considers paying any tout for picks, do the world a favor and just donate that money to some good charity.
Touts are nothing but bottom feeders. Show me 1 tout that you can pay and they will make you money every year. None out there. If there was, we would all be signed up and not spending time on gambling forums.

You really want to make money, become a bookie.

Anyone remember that guy a few years ago that went on the big CFB run? Said he was in college and needed a laptop to do research then said his laptop broke so he needed money to replace it. And all the dopes that pay money for picks etc. paid the guy something like $1,500 for a new computer so he could make some picks?

Yeah, sure the guy needed a new laptop. People are so gullible.

Touts have always cracked me the fuck up. Even the "successful" ones cant be pulling that good of a profit margin. You are talking bottom of the barrel car salesmen here. Even worse are the clueless bumpkins that shell out their grocery money for these losers coin flips. It really is astounding. What these master gamblers will do for a couple thousand bucks- how exhausting. But probably more fun than slinging certified pre-owned Hondas...

He did lie to all of us tho, claimed he was picked up by a service when in fact he wasn't

There's no website, no credit card payment, no formal email from this 'service' he claims picked him up, no other choices of tout to select from...

He wants payment via PP and sent to his email, lol, he emailed me 4 days in a row dropping the prices of his packages claiming he was killing it and giving me free 'winners' that all lost

He was doing well here, he had a great idea...He just went about it all wrong, horrid business sense, HORRID!!!! So many little things he could have done different to drum up business, now he has to go to Barnes & Nobles and buy 'Business for Dummies' and try and start all over....

no problem Stevie.. thanks for cleaning it up :toast:

For what its worth guys.. tons of these hot cappers think a career in touting can be started from a hot week/month/etc.. gambling gets a life grade for most of us where we come back to earth on the span of many many hot AND cold streaks.. coming out ahead over the long haul is the goal, but paying a tout your profit in the process is the dumbest thing imaginable IMO.

Very well put Murph. I have been on many hot streaks during my 35 years of gambling, but not once did i ever think i should now be selling my plays. Paying a person to build a deck for you is one thing, paying a person to predict the future, is insane. Gambling is tough enough trying to overcome the vig, let alone paying for picks. If a person needs to pay for picks, its time to quit this game and move onto something else in life.

One other thing, if it wasnt so easy for anybody to start a tout business, due to the cheapness of starting a website and getting free exposure on all the forums, 99 percent of the people who go tout, wouldnt be able to do it if they actually had to spend cash doing it. In the old days, it took some big bankrolls for touts to promote themselves. Now all it takes is some time trolling the forums, looking for desperate down and out suckers.

Just look at twitter, thats a breeding school for wanna be touts, lollll. They should change their name to 'TOUT LAND"

It is easier for some to just go tout then to bet their own money. I have heard of people going tout by using other peoples picks. They don't even flip the coin themselves, lol.

I am a great handicapper...however i struggle with disipline and money management...that combined with a very small bankroll for most of the 40+ years i have been betting sports.

I have thought about going Tout many times...Great at picking winners , but just turrable at money management. I decided , wisely many years ago to not sell picks...its a shady business, and i am extremly honest.

I got a heart gold and would give you my last dollar if i know you really needed it...I love this Forum...tons of Great Cappers on here...If my picks line up with a few of the top cappers here...i will wager more than 1 unit on them.
Thanks to everyone who contributes here...when i get my bankroll a little larger...i will try and help and contribute when i can.

There are multiple angles on this.

Even if a really reliable tout did exist.... the guy could not stay in business. People are too stupid to discipline themselves even if they KNOW for a fact they have a good thing (winners to play). People, for the most part, are degenerates to some extent and will always play their own plays and blow their bankroll. Probably why touts feel they have to go for the juggler immediately any time they see any chance to get paid.
