I remember years ago watching her being interviewed by David Letterman on his show and he asked what her first movie was. I knew it wasn't "Fast Times..". Anyway, she got this panic stricken look on her face and the said "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". It was obvious to me that she didn't want anyone watching her first film, which was a film called "Paradise". It co-starred Willie Aames (from "eight is not enough") and was basically a softcore porn version of "Blue Lagoon". Phoebe's fabulous teen body was naked throughout much of the film.

Fuck. Paradise is no where to be found on NetFlix.

Ive seen fast times and its a generation thing as Superbad is 10 times funnier in my opinion and im 32.

Well, I'm 43 and I agree with you. Fast Times and Ferris Bueller are great movies, but I LOLed more with Superbad.

And as far as generational teen comedies go, the first American Pie movie was the best ever.

Yeah American Pie was huge. I always liked Dazed and Confused and Can't Hardly wait...Dazed would have been better if they cast someone else to play Mitch.

Hamilton: Why don't you get a job Spicoli?
Spicoli: What for?
Hamilton: You need money.
Spicoli: All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

tough call.

Overall pleasure film, fast times.

Yet...Ferris is iconic, more than spicoli and company. When you hear the name ferris or bueller, you think of a sick teen that outsmarts teachers, parents, etc. Plus, #1 popular guy on campus.

Coke=soda, xerox=copier machine. ferris bueller=coolest cat teen.

can't say the same about damone's five point plan or spicoli's stoner lines. Ferris has more longevity.

I'd have to go with Bueller's Day Off.

I think Breakfast Club vs Fast Times would have been a closer comparison.

Fast Times was a movie by both the Penn brothers and the Sheen, Esteves bros.. They were neighbours in Malibu. Rich kids with nothing to do other than make a movie. All good.

Every time I take my dog out and he's ready to take a dump, the only thing that comes to my mind is First he's gonna shit, then he's going to kill us...
