I whole heartly agree with that there were warnings,but I can't agree that we just brushed them off and did nothing about them.All agencies were out too lunch at some point but to say Bush knew and just said...Oh wow hope that don't happen or we "did NOTHING" is very hard to swallow.

thank you right wing for admitting to what in effect supporters of both parties are guilty of.....Cognitive Dissonance....we don't want to believe that something or someone that we support could be wrong on such a major scale....

Did nothing...Its a fact the president was aware of the 1st plane hitting the building...then he goes in and reads a PET GOAT story to the kids...Well upon being informed that the nation was under attack with the 2nd plane hitting the building he continues reading the story...Here is my point...If he was at a location the School that was publicized about him being there....why would he just sit there...He could of gotten up and issued a protective order to protect the nations airspace....

then i believe 30 minutes later the most secure building in the world gets a plane slammed into the side of it...but if that is not inaction i dont know what is...

I wonder where that other plane was going to..that went down in Pennsylvania..To bad it was delayed at the airport for 45 minutes it would be hard to justify it hitting anything..so i guess u had to just shot that one down...Thank you Uncle Sam!!!!!!

The Bush administration has blocked the public release of the full, classified version of the report for more than five months, officials said, much to the frustration of former commission members who say it provides a critical understanding of the failures of the civil aviation system. The administration provided both the classified report and a declassified, 120-page version to the National Archives two weeks ago and, even with heavy redactions in some areas, the declassified version provides the firmest evidence to date about the warnings that aviation officials received concerning the threat of an attack on airliners and the failure to take steps to deter it.

Why was this part of the report blocked and why was the declassified version heavily redacted? That's easy bush feared the report would hurt his political future, and the redactions have already been said to implicate the Saudis. Why does this president not want the truth be be shared with the American people about the worst attack on America since WWII?
