The Jets have better skill position players and a better O-Line than the Bucs. This is a better fit for Favre. Shhh - don't tell anyone.

Wow, GB management got all they wanted.....rid of Favre, humiliated him, no trade within division, no trade within NFC, traded to shitty Jets, traded to the media capital of the world where he will get dumped on with every pick or lost game!

I think Aaron Rodgers will be a decent NFL QB over time, and I understand why GB would want him as their new starter, but I would just love to see him suck balls this year and GB go 4-12 or so after the way the organization treated Bett Favre, a future hall of famer through all of this! Two dumb, stubborn, arrogant prick are Thompson and McCarthy and hope they get canned.

You don't seem to even understand what happened.

What else could Thompson and McCarthy have done?

He retired in March...they moved on and didn't want to be jerked around any longer. End of story.

Beautiful. He'll go to an average team with an average supporting cast. Lets see how well he does there. If he can have a good year I'll take my hat off to him and be the first to admit I was wrong. The more likely ending is him having a bad season and Favre lovers will blame it on the team he was traded to.

Good trade by the Jets also to make sure the draft pick depends on how well they do. They know there's a chance he plays terrible and they covered themselves to make sure they don't lose much if that is the case.

i'm sure he doesn't care what you think. leave your hat on

I think basically you take him back ,let him compete for the position and get ready for a great year of football .this could an absolute catastophe for the packers, anything short of a good playoff run is a letdown.God forbid a losing season after last year

and for the jets and favre anything close to a wild card or 8 wins is a major victory.

the jets have already won with this,I am dying to hear what they gave up,but its worth it for what favre brings in terms of changing that culture of the jets. a fun year for the jets fans,I dont know about green bay.
I hope with all the talent gren bay can really have a great year without favre.we will see

the jets really come out of this great.Oh, must be heaven right now to be a jets fan and season ticket holder :aktion033 how many times has anyone said that.

Big thing for Favre is that NY is different than GB.. in GB he could have bad games and still do no wrong. In the big apple, if he can't pick up the offense quickly and produce he is going to hear about it.

If he really wants to piss off those Buffoons in G.B that dropped the ball on this one he should go into the hall as a Jet!

Chances are when Brett goes to the HOF, Thompson and McCarthy will be gone from GB.

So all that would do is piss off the loyal fans who backed him for 16 years.
