Oy, now that I think of it, my favorite gifts ever were a pair of BB guns - one .357 replica that used CO2 cans and a pneumatic rifle. That rifle was pretty accurate - we'd regularly hit clothespins from ~50 yards away. The .357 would blow up the pins, even with regular round BBs.
