Melania Cruise, you pretty much boosted that opinion off me. You said there was a dilemma with Allen, Cooper and Cooks and I said Amari Cooper is the next elite WR and the best of that lot. What's next? You gonna say you are unsure about Cooks because the Saints signed Ricky Jerrett to play the slot?

nah, I've been doing a ton if research on him the past few days

believe it or not pats, more than one person can like a guy lol

What's your opinion on duke Johnson? if you like him you stole that from me because I said it first :toast:

How can it be a bold prediction though if I beat you to it by 10 days? I already made the bold prediction, it is no longer bold. You are like Ted Cruz saying we need to put the wall up, I'm Trump, I already said that.

No real opinion on Johnson yet really, RG3 historically been a pretty weak checkdown QB but Huey Jackson has always atleast tried to favor a feature RB in his offenses. Probably depends where he falls in the rankings.

Obviously RB is more about role/circumstance than overall skill level, so you kinda need clarity about those things first. He has upside but I feel like if his role is solidified he will just move up the rankings since so few guys have that 3 down+goal line role anymore. For full-PPR I'm sure he will be fine regardless though since he catches a ton of balls.

When would you take Leveon Bell / Josh Gordon / Tom Brady?

(all three suspended the first 4 games)

I still think Leveon Bell is far and away the best running back in ppr. The guy was deadly when he played last year. If he fell late in round 2-early round 3, I would take him.

Love brady as well based on his ADP. in several mock drafts I find myself taking him around round 8 and taking a high ceiling guy like Tyrod Taylor in the last couple rounds to get me through the first 4 weeks. I think brady will be on a mission when he comes back

If you going the Brady route I would probably take J Garoppolo instead of some other QB just in case that 4 weeks turns into 16 weeks.

There is that chance that Brady could lose his starting job.

Less then 10% but the odds are certainly more then zero.

I have been high on JG for a long time. He will be te Pats QB 10 years from now and there is a chance he could be the qb 10 weeks from now.

Even if he does not win the job which I ultimately don't think he will . My guess is he will put up just as good if not better numbers then TT anyway.
I
This is a very good QB.

Would not be shocked if he is the best QB in the NFL 4 years from now because Brees will be 41 by then .

Not really aiming to go the Brady route, it's just worked out that way in a few mocks

My league is only 4 pts for passing td, so I'm aiming for a qb with some rushing ability. someone will reach for cam way too early. I'm kind of aiming for Russell Wilson and Tyrod Taylor as my late round gamble

Everything he said on this page he stole from my post #67 Chop, don't be fooled.

What is your opinion of Jimmy G 2 or 3 years from now?
What do Pats fans think about his future.

I confess he's awesome.

Not sure yet, preseason tough to judge guys. NE did take a QB 3rd rd this year so tough to say how high they really are on him. 3rd rd is pretty high if you have Brady and feel you have your "QB of the future" so we'll see.

I really haven't seen him play much either since I don't watch preseason though.

Overall people optimistic about him but QB you really don't know until they play. Isn't like the other positions where you can size them up. Mental leap from college to NFL is huge obviously.

even if after those first 4 games, that Jimmy G is on pace for a Bree's like season, he would still be done after week 4. This is Brady's team and even if, Brady is looking like and playing like 2015 p.manning, you still let him finish the season.

if Jimmy g plays well in those four games, his trade value goes up come the off season and the pats will get a better draft pick(s), if he struggles, they can re-sign him cheap w him accepting he will have to back up for a year or two and then finally will be the starter.

if you were in a twelve team standard league. With your first two picks (#12, #13) if bell is there do you bite ? Go say; Gronk and bell or bell and Lamar or freeman ?

Hes not going anywhere . He is not getting traded. He is a more valuable asset going forward then Brady. If the pats were forced to get rid of one of them it would be Brady. Brady will probably start week 5 to 7 no matter what but after that he's gonna have to earn it.

The Pats have always demonstrated that they are more then willing to bench future HOFers.

If this is not the eventual fate of Brady it will almost be unpresidented in the BB regime.

yes I probably would bite if I could get an elite receiver like AJ Green or Hopkins with the other pick

I think the 12th pick is a pretty nice spot to be this year.

In my opinion the best pick position is the #3. Guarantees you either Antonio Brown, Odell, or Julio.

To me, the toughest spot by far is right in the middle, somewhere around 7-9. The elite WR's are gone. Even WR like AJ Green and Hopkins are gone a lot of the time. And there are no sure thing elite RB to take in that spot.
