Yeah, I know it shouldn't be ragtag.

Was just commenting on current situation.

I never really liked Tygod as a passer so I wasn't high on Watkins (+he is always hurt) but Marshall and Edelman are obviously nice.

I'd try to get Pitta at TE, if you haven't already. He is pretty nice in PPR when healthy. Tough to keep rolling Fleener out there. Dude is a 0.

Watkins def wasn't a guy I was targeting, but he fell to the 4th round so the value was there. I see him bouncing back this week. IMO the guy never should have played thursday night. Should have rested the foot on a short week. At least now he's had time to recover and a new OC who vows to get him involved.

And yes, fleener is fucking killing me to this point. I passed on Delanie Walker to get him. If I take Delanie i'm an easy 2-0. I haven't given up on him yet, the playing time and targets are there, but he needs to keep improving.

He probably isn't going to improve. He is pretty bad. He'll have a few big games just based on volume (and the fact the Saints invested so much in him makes it harder to not emphasize him) but someone like Pitta seems way better than him while he is healthy.

Saints playing a lot of 3 wide and they throw to Cadet/Ingram. On most plays Fleener is the 5th option.

Him over Delanie oof. I'd try and see if Chop will send you the bill for that 1.

the group shouldn't be ragtag, just a bunch of bad luck. Marshall, watkins, edelmen should be a beastly ppr trio.

So you have Marshall, who is like 42 years old. Watkins, who cannot stay healthy. And Edelman, who missed 7 games last year.

That is why you are in this position.

So funny how people who are bad at something always blame bad luck. Same as poker.

Marshall basically has no injury history. Guy has been as healthy and consistent as they come. last missed a game in 2014 and has posted 1000 yards in 8 of his last 9 seasons. He got hurt on a dirty play. Put those things together and yes I'd consider that bad luck.

Edelmen is healthy, so not sure what he has to do with anything. unless you're somehow suggesting that I should have predicted that garrapolo would get hurt?

I've already acknowledged watkins was a risk and explained that I drafted him because he fell to the 4th round.

Everyone knows hindsight is 20 20. It's easy to jump in and be and asshole after this stuff has already happened.

Toe injuries can be tricky. Tough to get anything out of the Saints though, they're more secretive than the Patriots. Payton said CJ Spiller was gonna be a huge part of the offense this year and he isn't even on the team anymore.

Blount should be a beast in standard formats as long as he stays healthy though.

I want to congratulate R Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks for finally figuring out they have a TE

fleener is a better fantasy player then real player.
not worth his contract but no doubt a top 5 fantasy te which was my whole point.

in no way can he be compared to jimmy graham in real life but will probably put up 75 percent of his numbers because of brees

If they keep giving up 40 a game (possible) then maybe he can get to the top 5 but it will be tough.

Brees threw like 55 passes tonight and Snead was out.

Of course, unless it is like an 8 team league or something.

They play the Saints week 8, probably worth stashing him for that game alone.

I'm in a 10 team league with standard scoring. Can't believe someone let him go. If I end up getting him i'm considering trading Dom Grady for another wr or rb. Also got Derek Carr and qb is kinda plug and play if you need someone.

yeah Wilson is devalued in a league with only 10 teams. Especially with his injuries. More upside than Carr cause the rushing but with his injuries he could stay in the pocket more.

Brady should be a man on a mission when he gets back. A lot of people forget he was going nuts and the clear cut MVP after 10 weeks last year before the team just completely fell apart with injuries. He was on a '07 chip on his shoulder pace. I don't know if you would get much for him since everyone is probably fine at QB and usually just talks themselves into their own guy.
