I couldnt do it Hansen.

It was already weird AF to draft 4 straight Rb's , I just could not pull the trigger on 5...lol....took Addison with the 6th pick

Ill add one more RB, either a last/2nd to last round pick OR if a good one drops to me earlier.

Only problem on Ingram, who I like, is that he may take the workload, but at the goal line, they will give the ball to Conner. Much like the Lions and WIlliams last year, but of course, not near the volume of opportunities.

I like Cam Akers better, but understand he is not really a sleeper, but should be available. Kenny Pickett has some nice weapons and should be a down round option. Also like the alliteration of Dotson and Dobbins.

Good pt about Keontay and the GoalLine

Im pretty much fading Cam Akers....I think I may have him in less than 5 of over 100+ teams. He has moved up around 10 spots as well since the start so now I REALLY dont like him.......

What kind of league let's you get away with that kind of quality for your first five picks?

You're gonna dominate that league. I don't care about the rest of your picks. My experience tells me that if you nail your first three picks you stand a great chance of winning your league. You've got five first or second rounders in your first five picks.

Best Ball Drafts on FantasyUnderdog and DraftKings

We draft over 18(FU) or 20(DK) rounds.......12man pods

Each week you play 1qb 2rb 3wr 1te and 1 flex

It’s the best ball drafts. 12 man drafts no setting lineups and no waiver wire. Get 18 picks and stuck with whoever you draft all year. Automatically puts top scorer in for positions

It’s very WR driven early in drafts.

I typically go 5 RB and 1 QB first 6 picks. Chubb/Barkley/ Harris or Walker or Etienne then Fields qb then Pierce then Montgomery.

If not taking fields round 4 and go RB I grab Herbert rd 5 or Lawrence rd 6

You can grab a lot of TD equity this way in. With no setting lineups or waiver wire you corner a high upside RB share but sacrifice WR play. However with 5 premium RB and 1 elite QB you can just go throw darts and draft 9 WR. Bunch of number 2 WR. Guys like Sutton, Cooks, Doubs, Moore, Tooney, MVS, Nico, Chark, Zay, People’s Jones, Elijah, Any NYG WR. Hard to gauge when those type guys pop but if ya have 9 and it automatically plays best 3 scorer it has wheels to carve a path to points

He is 6’1 220+

He can handle goal line if they choose.

Again we are talking about a guy nobody will draft. Last pick type player. Young player on a team setting up for the future. Possible they give him work just off that to see what they got. Has no real competition behind him. Just a deep Flyer

The thing is nothing has to happen to Conner. I’m not sure what ppl do when analyzing players sometimes. I know talking heads like Conner

Anybody yet to mention new coach? Kliff ran that same TT offense in Arizona. Rpo to isolation runs to Conner. Slot WR digs and X WR bubbles to back side WR fade/9 go routes

It was vanilla as hell. Because of Murray he played defense also because 1/3 of field the middle was never used in pass game

Cards get new OC off browns who if anything likely uses the 1-2 Chubb/ hunt type system. Conner isn’t Chubb but still effective but new system new role.

Younger faster almost as big RB who is more fluent catcher could play the 1b Hunt role or become primary later in year. End of day the volume and touches far out weight most options this deep in a draft. Why wait for a waiver you may not get? In bb why not a flyer to be unique and garner a player sub 2% who if becomes a volume player can significantly be advantageous to the field.

How did the 5 RB turn out?

Here is the final team...I think missing out on a super stud WR or 2 will hurt me more than taking those 2 premium backs (Mixon,Rhamondre) early will help

Doesn’t look like your getting guys you value vs ADP. I’m just not a big ADP guy. Means nothing imo. Building teams under this format I have a plan to correlate and find value etc to meet how you are building.

I do 5 RBs and Elite QB. And certain QBs have easy to pair options late. I like how ya got the QB WR RB TE combos and a piece of certain offense.

Everett with Eck ( I’d gone Herbert at QB pair with ECK if there) but the Butrow Mixon Boyd Smith is pretty unique and exposure everywhere. Like it.

If I went Pitts I’d gone Ridder and Hollins to pair since they can go so late easy to get. Buys ya time and ability to reach if need be on other picks.

But you have lots of unique options and easy builds off your 1st 4 picks.

Having ECK BarQ Mix RH you can go Jones or Jones at QB to pair with the RB. And still grab a cheap WR and TE option

Pats Jones-RH—Juju-Henry/Gesecki
Gmen- Jones-BarQ-All G WRs can be had so late-Waller
Falcons-Ridder-Pits-Hollins (could make Allgeir rb 5)

Love Jefferson and Moore. Explosive options cheap on bad defense teams so can garner targets. Moore is solid. Not big on Addison due to ADP been grabbing much cheaper and underrated Osborne much later.

I don’t think you’re WR are that bad. 8 options and just need 1 each week to 80-1 type stats and other 2 tread water as floor. Possible weeks have 2-3 pop those stats.

You could really just go 4 RB. With 5 you can sustain a bust and 1-2 injuries. And your flex is your 3rd RB and with 5 or 4 you have high equity in production off the flex

It allows you to get..
8-9 WR
3-4 TE
2 QB all ya need 1 elite 1 fun flyer

And you can pair n correlation so many cheap high upside ways

If you don’t panic and draft this way a few times you can make solid teams high upside. Having 4-5 stud RB you can reach and pair high upside pieces for cheap. And get super unique builds

Rams D will suck. I’ve paired up so much Jefferson Higbee and sometimes Staff and even Puka for super cheap late

Sometimes I punt elite QB and gobble up Richardson or Watson or Bioth since you can easily pair up Rich with Woods Downs Pierce and Watson with Njoku Moore (maybe) and Peoples.

Love is another cheap one I’ve ran back with tons of Doubs Musgrave and sometimes Reed

If you look at certain teams with not so good to bad defense Colts Cards Rams name a few. They have easy cheap pieces to build on that are easy to get

Then teams line say Denver you can grab cheap Wilson Sutton Mims Dukrich.

End of day don’t panic off 4-5 RB builds. Take Chubb picks 3-5 pair with whoever and you will have a RB build and QB build nobody has. It’s 100% irrelevant the ADP BS. It’s not dumb taking guys like that early.

I’ve taken Chubb, B Rob even Waddle picks 1-3 all guys who have realistic options to huge years. Waddle could 1500 yards 13-15 TD Chubb could 2000 yard 15+ TD. That’s elite and it allows you to pair guys nobody is or can do. Nobody is gonna have a Waddke Smith Metcalf or Ridley build top 3 WR. Nobody is gonna have a Chubb Hurts/Allen build. Hell I’ve done Briwn Hurts Smith builds out 1-2 pick. I’ve done eckler Allen Williams Herbert 1st 4 picks then Everett 5 man stacks. I’ve passed on Eckler and grabbed Kelly rd 16-18 playing on a possible Eckler regression or injury. Kelly is the more powerful runner goal line also. And New OC Moore is fast paced push ball deep. Grabbing an entire high power offense like that opens lots of doors. Risky yes but upside and ability to get good production each week is high upside and floor

Again forget those ADP things! You gotta be unique to beat 600k ppl if that’s the goal. The average person is wrong every year Projection wise on players. Way wrong often. Via injury or Suck. And the average person drafts off ADP every fucking draft

Guess my point is don’t be a bitch. Go blow the boards up n draft off YOUR opinions and get unique

It is brutal watching the injury reports pile in

Obviously with over 100+ teams , Im going to get dinged OFTEN

Just sucks to have so many of my higher owned players getting the early shaft BEFORE the season begins.......

I am for sure overweight on Judy and McLaurin...not sure either plays wk 1?

I find it funny that 2 of my most owned Rb's (Ford and Rhamondre) got downgraded back to back.
Zeke goes to NE and eats into Rhamadre's pie...then Pierre Strong gets traded to the Browns and will likely fk with Jerome Ford's workload.

I think Strong is pretty damn good and he might overtake Ford's pretty much locked in backup role later in the year......I liked Strong better as Rhamondre's backup so now he is downgraded as well on the 6-10 or so lineups I have him in.

Comedy Gold .....Not used to the FanDuel drafting interface....got timed out and hit the wrong button a couple times.....

Somehow ended up with a team with only One Average, at best, Tight End.....maybe he can have a good year and stay off the IL

Hey @chrishansen

If you are around and see this before 3pm est let me know , need your opinion on a final pick
I literally could take MacJones(not that good but could get hot in the playoff and have him stacked with 2 guys)
Hurst ( Like Njoku, not sure what will become of Knox and Hurst should get a healthy dose of targets from Young
or Slayton ( I think he has tremendous potential, probably should be drafted closer to 160 than 200)

Trying to figure out who brings biggest upside.

I’d gone extra TE. Jones makes sense with two Pats wr.

But I’d want more TE value since got Allen n Rodgers

Last pick probably flyer on gesicki or Washington

Safest pick with upside Woods colts

Solid looking team tbh.

Yeah I literally waited for the last 30 seconds to make this pick......

It was such a tossup between Hurst and Slayton for me, I looked at it from multiple angles and it came down to me believing that Knox will still have a nice role in the offense....yes he will lose points to Kincaid but hoping Kincaid takes more points from the 3rd WR than he does from Knox.

The biggest negative on Slayton is he is a wk13 bye and with my Mega Bills stack that makes 6 players out that week....but my team is stacked so heavily in the afcE (Buff,NE, Jets) such that I can do real well as these teams play each other 2x and shootouts would be very profitable BUT if there are a number of defensive battles Im screwed anyway and one more out wont make a difference.....Plus if I can put up a decent wk13 score from other players then Im looking good for the other weeks as 12 players will split the other 13 bye weeks
