make it a yahoo league, but lets give the worst team in both conferences $100. That makes it fun for the bad teams, that is how we usually do it when we have 20+ teams

We cant do that.
People will start players with byes or injured players when they know they cant make the playoffs. That will hurt teams that are trying to make playoffs as well.

To keep the last place guys into it. We can offer weekly prizes for the team that scores the most points that week.

Yahoo also doesn't let you break your league into different divisions. It's all put into one big league.

MC, exactly, the only way you can pay the bottom 2 teams anything is if you make the rule that they cannot start injured players at the end. I think it will be generally close all season for the most part, I say reward the top guy for his success and give him the lump sum.

I see no reason for 2. The only thing I think you need to push for now Jake is getting a book to sponsor us and a possible $ amount to the winner.

Sure would make it much more worthwhile.But if not, it will still be fun regardless.
