what i want to know is why didnt he just bench him and see how his team plays out? if his team is lousy keep him all year and you have him next year as a 5th, if he has a monster team early on you can drop him and pick up guys when the bye weeks kick in and you are forced to make substitutions. then there is always the weirdo situation that might happen thats going on now a reduced suspension...

and if they guy who dropped him is crying sour grapes and wants him back etc id throw him out of the league.

100% number 3. Same thing happened to me when Favre retired and them decided to come back. I dropped him from my keeper and someone else picked him up.
