If you get Adams/Thomas rd 1 just seems like your RBs will be terrible, really not crazy about anyone after Dalvkn/CEH at their ADP.
Id have to read up on it more but I like Gurley out of the 15-25 range and name guys, he should be solid and easy to handcuff but those RBs are tough to gauge
i
Carson seems decent if you can handcuff him but didn't he leave training camp for death in his family twice and he's coming off injury.
Fournette I just wouldn't draft. He's terrible and on a terrible team, can't imagine he gets closer to the workload he did last year. Doesn't seem easy to cuff either.
Usually the one good thing about preseason is it does bring some clarity on the roles of RB's (which is the most role dependent position by far) but with that clarity not really coming this year, I just feel like a lot of these guys are stay aways. Feels like by week 2 we're gonna find out some of them are severely devalued.
I don't mind Kelce/Kittle in mid rd 2......Kelce durability is great and Kittle has a vintage Gronk yr in him once TDs start breaking his way a little better.
I like Evan Engram like 5-6 rounds later though, he's always hurt but if he dies TE is pretty deep this year where you can get someone like Hockenson/Jared Cook/Herndon to atleast be decent. Engram healthy should probably be in Ertz/Andrews tier.
Cook was a monster with Brees 2nd half last year. Just don't draft OJ Howard in the 5th rd like I did last year.
Yeah, Cook saved my ass. I had Howard first 8 weeks last year and he scored 40 pts out of tight end in those weeks (started a few other stiffs in that time too)
I got Allen Robinson 6th rd last year and it was my best pick but top 10 with that QB situation? That feels kinda rich.
KC rookie meaning CEH? I don't watch much college so I have to research him more, I mean he seems good to go but I don't think I'd take him over Cook/Kamara (I'd pretty down on the VIkings as well, think tehy have 6-10 equity but he does fit Kubiak offense perfectly and he can be cuffed......I like Kamara though, high ankle sprain is behind him, don't see a reason not to)
Drake? Feels like 3 weeks into the season Edmonds is getting half the work. I've said for years in these threads I hate falling victim to the "Guy crushed last 7 weeks of the previous year and now is a top 2 rd pick", sometimes those guys work out but their bust rates are pretty high.
Miles Sanders? I like him the most of this lot probably, good team/good OL/not much comp for work but he's already got a soft tissue injury? ehh
Henry? I mean his performance last year was totally unsustainable unless he is just the GOAT now and he doesn't catch passes. Would you want him as the centerpiece of your team?
Jacobs? We covered him already.
Mixon? I mean it is this dudes 4th year and he hasn't lit up fantasy yet. Can't say I'm dying to take him either.
I know this seems overly critical but that is kinda what my process is sometimes. Try to find things wrong w/ guys rather than right.
So yeah, I think you wanna hope to take care of Rb1 in rd 1 then stack team at WR/TE after that and then comeback w/ a punt option at RB2 and hope over the course of the season it turns into something better.
What about the kc rookie
Yeah, diving into rankings so much seems tough to decipher. Kinda makes it fun in a sense, I bet a lot of people will be winging research on draft day.
Taylor on the Colts around RB17, he has to deal with Mack/Hines. Seems rich valuation but I don't really know.
Zach Moss getting rave reviews at Bills camp, maybe he's just the #1 and Singletary is change of pace guy.
Mostert isn't a fun pick but I do think he's best RB on the team and that's a sick running game obviously. He seems a little low.
DeAndre Swift? One thing about the Lions that is funny is they have a new hyped FF RB every other year seems like. Kerryon, Best, LeShoure, Joique Bell, Abdullah. It never ends.
This may be Brady Bias but Ronald Jones RB33? Seems low, he'll atleast be given the chance to be the man.
