Fans booing Canadian anthem?

Happened last night in SJ. Happened in game 4 in Buffalo too. Fortunately, the good fans actually sang along to drown out the morons doing this.

Are these small number of fans that incredibly stoopid to not realise that a large number of players on every team are Canadian??

Buffalo's fans are even stoopiderer since a large number of the Sabre faithful are Hamilton residents (who are coincidentally pursuing the Penguins franchise).

Grow up fans -- you're insulting a good ally and a a number of players on your own team.

Buffalo fans did NOT boo the Canadian anthem in Game 4. There could have been a smattering a idiots-but everyone was singing along. Everyone was pumped to see that Ronan was singing God Bless America following.
Now the last time I can remember hearing boos at the Marina was when the Leafs and Sabres played and the Leaf fans did it at the ACC and some Buffalo idiots responded.
Do not cast Sabres fans in that category as they were well behaved and boisterous for games 3 & 4.
Maybe you just wanted to use that popular English phrase "stoopiderer".

I dont think buffallo did, as for SJ, was there a reason behind it? I dont know.

The boo's are in response to Canadians jeering and yelling throughout the National Anthem in Edmonton and else where.. Fvck the Cannucks Yell your ass off during OLD CANADA.. Assholes would all be speaking Russian if it was for the Stars and Strips!!

Who , on the other hand is liked around the world? If you do a little digging, you'll find that people who hate Americans hate everyone else too, including their own neighbors. If they hate Americans a little more, it's because they want what we've got.

The point is not who is liked but more who is hated and that is more the issue. Case in point 911 and the Oklahoma bombing.

There are not many countries out here that others likes but you definitely don't want to be on a list that others hate..........

Exactly!! Yet they're also the first to complain why Americans don't stop the latest World Massacre Special of the Day.
