Fade The Experts!

Here is something I started on April 3rd that has had 2 good days so I'm going to track it here to see if it has legs.

Here is the system... Fading the experts at Covers. You can find the experts picks by going to Covers and looking at the MLB Scores & Matchups page and clicking on Team Experts. I only fade when there is a difference of 6 or more experts on one side over the other. If the team I will be playing is a favorite I will play the Run Line -1.5. Every play made with this system will be at + odds. I will usually decide if there is going to be a play 30 minutes before first pitch to make sure most experts have gotten their plays in. All plays are TO WIN 1 Unit.

Here were the plays from 4/3:

White Sox RL +145 / WIN
Twins ML +135 / WIN
Athletics RL +155 / WIN
Reds RL +170 / LOSE
Pirates RL +170 / WIN
Padres ML +130 / LOSE


Here were the plays from 4/4:

Padres ML +129 / WIN
Rays RL +180 / LOSE
Athletics RL +135 / WIN
Marlins ML +200 / LOSE
Phillies ML +113 / WIN

That is roughly +4.59 Units

The Yankees/Detroit game that just started winded up 11-5 with the experts favoring Detroit but when I checked it 30 minutes prior it was 10-5 experts on Detroit, that's why there wasn't a play on the Yanks. Have to use the 30 minute cutoff point or else there will be too much scrambling to get the play in and post if I wait until last minute.

Rangers 12 / Angels 8 = NO PLAY

When we do have a play I will use odds from 5Dimes to track. The above 2 days worth of plays were from some shit book so most would have gotten better odds.

Orioles 9 / Twins 8 = NO PLAY


As it sits right now looking at plays on the Rays RL and the Diamondbacks ML but nothing set in stone yet.

Marlins 7 / Mets 8 = NO PLAY
Nats 9 / Reds 9 = NO PLAY
Indians 13 / Rays 5 = Rays RL -1.5 +140


So the system has it's 1st play of the day on the Rays RL +140, to win 1 Unit

Forgot to mention, on the money line plays, starting pitchers must go or no action... at least that's how I've been playing it.

all this NO PLAY reminds me of Rodneys line to the milf teacher in BACK TO SCHOOL after he asks her on a date at 3 or 4 different time slots and she kept saying "I have a class then".................... Rodney: why dont you call me sometime when you have no class

In the future I won't be posting the NO PLAY games, just the ones the system will be on.

I figured since this was the first day I'd post all the games so people would get a sense of WTF is going on.

Not too shabby. Usually the first day you post a new system it shits the bed, lol.

Brings my personal 3 day total to +7.59 Units. Hopefully we stay golden with this thing.
