Spurs vs Man City
Dodged a bullet on this one. I had a small bet on Man City and thought about backing Spurs at half-time on the in-running markets to win back my stake but couldn't deposit to my account so didn't bother.
At half-time City trailed 3-0 and were down to 10 men after a sending off. They were away from home and had low morale after just 1 win in 18 games. Top (and virtually only)goalscorer Anelka had limped off and they were being totally out-played.
What happened in the second half was one of the most unlikely comebacks I have witnessed in many years watching soccer. In the dying seconds City's John Macken headed a late winner for a dramatic 4-3 victory.
Lucky my deposit didn't go through!
