But the NFLPA will definitely negotiate reduction of NFL Commish power. Most likely tradeoff at this point is they agree to go to an 18 game regular season

Unfortunately, Goodell and the NFL are too entrenched at this point.

If they back down on the number of games and/or do not fully litigate the ongoing appeals by Elliott's legal team it will create precedent which would impede future suspensions up to the end of current CBA
