i doubt kevin mitnik really sent this.

what makes me say that?

do a google search on him and as much legal troubles he has had in the past from hacking and what-not - if he is TRULY behind this - he is in a shit load of manure and will be headed back to prison - and for a lonnnnnnnnnng time.

i would contact the FBI and just pass these along to them. if mitnik is truly behind it - he is major league f****d!

Kevin Mitnick did not send this...

That is like if Jay Leno at the RX claimed to be honest to god Jay Leno from NBC. Obviously the sender of the email admires him, probably the most famous hacker ever.

Wink-

Get a clue. A hacker using "kevin mitnik" is like regular person signing "Mickey Mouse". The FBI doesn't call Disney every time "Mickey" sends someone a death threat.

Thrill-
Seriously NOT funny. Believe me, we all have our "favorite" book we'd like to get screwed. But, this is just bad for the industry, because it plays into the hackers greed by stating that it's okay to hit some books. Any book that gets hit should get the full support of the community. Like Benjamin Franklin said, "Either we hang together, or we hang separately."

I don't want to be a "part" of anything Yahoops and BetFlamingo are either Java. They have laughed in peoples faces when they stole money from unknowing players, especially BetFlamingo. Sorry to sound vindictive but yes I would prefer they get attacked rather then books like WWTS, Hollywood, Pinnacle and the others who are making an honest living and doing right by their players. Has nothing to do with my favorite books, these people who steal from the players are no better than the folks trying to extort them. Nothing would be better than seeing thieves attacked. Just my opinion on the matter.

Anyway thanks for the updates Hollywood. I would imagine they tell every book that the "other one's paid" in hopes to convince you to do the same. I don't think they know the toughness of the folks they are trying to attack. If we can help in some manner let us know here.

Good post, I could care less if thieves steal from other thieves. It's when honest people get ****ed that pisses me off

Will,

Good to see that you do not bend for corruption. The moment you start doing it, it will get from bad to worse. It is sad to see that others have paid the US$30k. Really a bad thing!

Western Union should become forbidden in my point of view! If that is a way for these guys to get the money so easy, then imagine how easy terrorists can get money transferred. I am saying this though being a resident of a country that does not stop anyone from gambling on the internet, neither is there any tax imposed. I am aware that this is a bit different in the USA. Still the fees being paid for these Western Union transfers are so high that I cannot see what good a Western Union transfer is, if it is a legal transfer.

What mostly interests me is that they only seem to target Caribbean books?! Why do they not try to get money from the big guys like Ladbrokes, William Hill, etc. Maybe it is the FBI themselves that is in fact behind this all?!?!?!? Hmmmmmmmmmm. Never say no!
