I listen to them too. But I had to disagree. They are giving opinions. Just like the opinions on this board. They quote trends that are straight for the covers site. No talk of players, problems, injuries, etc. I thought they talked a good game too, bought plays, followed and learned real quick they aren't any better than the free picks you can find here from solid guys capping games. You need to remember, these guys do this full time and get paid for their picks.
Buy groups for certain websites
OK so i just joined theRX and have seen a lot of buy groups created around here. I was interested in starting up a group for a website i have seen on here called Halfbets.com. I wanted to purchase a weekly package from one of the experts on the site but not sure how the whole process would work..how do you all send me the money, etc...

You can see the red flags being raised every time a group thread surfaces. There are a lot of guys that are here to rip individuals off. I am in groups in which the people actually care about each other and want everyone to win.
One week is not enough time to judge anything, and with only very few posts and asking about one of the most shilled for websites, I wish you the best.
If you need help splitting $75, you may want to reconsider wagering on sports.
I mean not disrespect in responding to your post. I am just being honest.
You can see that the mods post in every thread that hints of money changing hands.
A lot of groups here work out great. Some don't.

take the advice fraser is giving you as it is sound. joining a buy is much easier than starting one, even if it is for the right reasons. i would hate for a newbie (or anyone) to get ripped off. my best advice if you want to start a buy group is think long term money management and overall goal for the particular buy. not our intent in here to seem like we are talking down to you, just hoping to help. how long have you tracked halfbets?

Anyway i will go ahead and purchase the packages on my own and see how it goes. If they turn out to be big winners, i will let you all know. I figure at $75 a package, we could purhcase all three experts packages for $225 and would be worth a buy group at that point...

A shill is someone that is promoting something. If you knew the history of the posters in this thread, you would realize that we are trying to help you. You do not need to be buying 3 of anything unless you know their track record.
There is already a group in place for Freddy Wills. There are much better prices than $75 a week, but I am not here for that.
Chuba and I are trying our best to give you good advice.
Buy who you will, but I would research the heck out of them before I purchased.

Well all I can say is i purchased the weekend package today from two of the experts on the site and went 3-0. SSG (SuperSportsGroup) had the following plays:

Yankees OVER 9.5 (7**)
Angels ML -105 (5**)

I asked about a buy group for the site before and got hammered left and right by people saying all this negative crap about me and about the site i was trying to buy. Since it seemed that there was no interest, i went in and purchased the packages myself. Whats wrong with that. I was going to do that anyway just wanted to see if some people wanted to jump in with me thats all.
I bought the package, won money which they said they would do, and posted the plays that were in the winning packages so you could see what you missed out on. You can go and check the website yourself since they post the results.
Anyway have to run now. I have a life especially after hitting for over $2k gonna be a great night with the ladies tonight!!

That being said, had you won $2000 on you first day using a service, there is no way you would be passing tomorrow with the All-Star break coming up.
