Next weeks a calling ACE and troops we can do it again on SUnday. You have had some super insight ACE. NYG muffed it they just let a team that they should have quashed early flub over them. In the first 1/4 when NYG was up by two TD's I felt forsure we were running for another TD then they let it slip away.

Minnesota Low. Don't be fooled by moss not being in the starting lineup. Minn will win outright +7.

Can someone explain to me whats up with Eli Manning. I am a huge Giants fan, and cannot understand why he isn't in. Is he not ready? Warner sucks, and Coughlin's logic is the team is 5-2, now 5-3 so we are still winning. Is he going to wait until they are 5-6 and out of playoff contention to think about a change? Yesterday, beginning of the 3rd quarter was a perfect opportunity to get some life back in the Giants and bring in Eli. Try the fvcking guy out, geez look at Roethlisberger.

Sorry, just a frustrated Giant fan, who wasted my time at the game, and my money with the book. And yes, I did the same stoopid thing and doubled up on the Giants at halftime as well, and they couldn't beat the lowly fvckin Bears.

Treez

I'll tell you why, Treez...

I live in Jacksonville, and I've seen the train wreck that is Tom Coughlin. THAT is why you won't see Eli in the game. He's so busy micro-managing his coaches and ass-reaming his players that make mistakes, he won't even THINK for a second to put a newbie QB in there, no matter how much the veteran is screwing up.

That is, of course, unless the veteran is a WR or TB. THEN the veteran gets the bench like a SHOT, and the FNG (f*ing new guy, hence my name!) gets thrown in, only to get HIS ass handed to him if HE makes a mistake! See, he's an equal opportunity blamer!

GL the rest of the year with your Giants, but I've found the big blue machine is a great play when they're a 'dog, but don't cover when they're the fave this year.

Hey Ace,

I'm new to the forum. I've been reading, but not posting. Decided to join in the festivities. Tough weekend, but you'll bounce back. I've been reading your posts and I find them very informative. Your insights are appreciated.Best of luck next week.:howdy:

I agree, it's Coughlin, but I don't want to drill him yet, although it's becoming borderline. He is so set in his own ways that it's negative to the team. We all have seen that for the past 4 years Ron Dayne is NOT a short yardage guy, unless it's garbage time. The guy just sucks major ass, yet time in and time out early in the year they gave Dayne the ball. He proved over the past few seasons, and more imptly to COughlin's eyes, he proved that he isn't worth the short yardage carries THIS PRESEASON. Yet Coughlin still gives him the shot.

I like Coughline, I think he has the team "thinking" the right way. However, he has to put his "pride" (for lack of a better word) aside and do what's best for the team.

It's really a shame for the GMen to have lost this game, and it hurts as a fan that the Coach doesn't realize that Kurt Warner SUCKS, has sucked in most games, and will CONTINUE to suck.

Cough, please get a clue, start Manning, and if he isn't ready, start PALMER, yes the fvckin bachelor. Warner sucks man, open your damn eyes Tom.

ACE, better luck to the both of us next week. I will certainly look for your thread and cheer you on in the bounce back week.

3 weeks of brutal stats for Warner. 19 sacks, 8 fumbles. Maybe 1 recovered. Guy has been washed up for years. Has the pocket awareness of a wooden indian. Successful pocket QB's have a timer, one thousand one, one thousand two. Kurt's timer is off. Worse he is immobile. Good QB's occasionally get you that run, that first down. Not Kurt, just stares downfield until he gets crushed. Giants said after game Bears started bringing it every play. I wonder why?

Tough Tom now has a real problem. He has big Ben lighting it up down the street. Kurt looks more like a choir boy than a quarterback. But he sticks with vets, and is very rigid. In keeping stationary target Kurt back there, it puts immense pressure on the O line, having to pick up blitzes, every down, and not knowing how long Kurt will just stand there, reflecting. At least young Eli would move, run and show some semblance of belonging in the NFL. Tiki wearing down from carrying entire load. Freak infection keeping center out. Worst news, Strahan defensive stud, tore a pectoral muscle, maybe. That could be very bad. It was good for Giants to be early cinderellas, but the clock has struck midnight, and the pumpkin has now appeared.

To those who think the Jets and Giants should have won, do not fool yourselves. The Jets just got smashed in the face and did not respond. ***** Pennington whimpered off the field and is now KO'd. Did not help my under. He pulled his best Kurt imitation, with sacks, picks and fumble. Again, was good Jets looked like playoff team early, get that better number fading them. I find it difficult making excuses for favorites, when they lose outright. I also question laying 3 on a Sunday, when there is 2 1/2 available, even worse, it opened at pick.

This is not a told you so, but what to expect next. Both of these New York squads are carrying numbers from their respective hot starts. But their form has regressed substantially. I will bet against both of these teams again. I am sure you will recover Ace-Ace. One week does not make a season. Just tried to warn you off of Jets before it started. The only time I get in anybody's thread to warn them is if I see something they might have overlooked. No problem coming in my threads, I had no problem, someone else sure did. Looking forward to this week's recovery.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

ACE-ACE, Your right my friend, it is a WAR and its a long one at that. I capped most of your plays and they were the correct plays, but thats why they play the games. I am sure next week you will go back to being un-defeated with some great picks.

Lets just all thank Ed Reed once again for that INT return last night......
