You say you could go into number crunching and stats but don't need to. I think you should so as to clear up where your thinking of this game is coming from.

The key to an effective offense is having a quality running game. And in the last four weeks, 31 of 32 teams that had a 100-yard rusher ended up winning.

Having said that, I'll take my chances on Jerome Bettis and Duce Staley over Lee Suggs and Terrell Smith.

Good luck on the game Ace, with you on this one.

Ive looked it over myself, and I dont see any numbers that support the Browns winning here. I think he just has a gut feeling, which is fine. Sometimes they work out. I couldnt bet against the best team in football right now. Im on the Steelers

I have been watching you for a couple weeks now. 11-4 is a pretty good record. and whoever follows you this week, even if they lose, should still be up plenty of bucks,..

I myself like browns this week. but, being there is so much indecision about who to play, I will be laying off the game and not rooting for ACE ACE or Winning points.

The reason I bring this up is because someone above who is trying to create a rivalry by stating that its ACE ACE -VS- WINNING POINTS.

You guys are to great Cappers and I respect both of you and you have given this board lots of money....

So, here is what I will do, if ACE ACE & WINNING POINTS are on opposite sides than dont bet the game and dont bash..!!!

The last thing we want to do is create trouble between to best cappers and probably lose one or both on this board.....

I hope I didn't offend anyone.

P.S. >> I like Washington-3 and JAGS-2

GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY :coffeetim

Prodog my friend, I wasn't bashing at all. All I'm saying is that we have two great capers on opposite sides here. That's why I'll pass. Hard to go against any one of them. But I do like Pitt. in this particular matchup. Good luck guys.

ACE,

I agree, how many letdowns did NE have when they won 21 straight. Just because you have a big win doesn't mean your going to have a letdown the next week. I don't think this team and this coach lets that happen. As far as the game being at clevland. Pitt has beating clevland the last 3 games in clevland.

one big question

If Pitts is the obvious team on paper here...should win the game without a hinge...all those take away, all those rushing yards, all those stats.

WHY DID THEY OPEN AT -5 AND NOW WITH 83% OF THE $$$ ON PITTS AND THE LINE DROP TO -3.5 OR -4

Easy

Bao The Sharp, large amounts etc are on the other side. 83% is probably 83% of of plays sided on Pitt. If the line is going the othre way..Large amounts were placed on Clev.

It concerns me that Staley is still questionable and Bettis is poabable with a pulled thigh muscle.

I still like Pitt, but running game might not be as reliable as normal.

Only about 60% of the money is on Pitt even though over 80% is on that side.

When you comare Belichick to Cower it's easy. Just look at the AFC Champ game in 2001.
Same thing will happen this year the game won't be close.

Pat,
I agree bilichick is the best coach in football but it's not like cower sucks. He is the longest tenured coach in the entire NFL.

if the letdown theory had any truth to it. It should've happened last week after they beat NE. Certainly we can all agree who the better team is. Just look at the stats. Not to mention Pitt has won 6 of the last 7. And clev is 3-5 this year.<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=1 width="100%" bgColor=black border=0><TBODY><TR><TD style="FONT-SIZE: x-small; COLOR: white; FONT-FAMILY: verdana; BACKGROUND-COLOR: slategray; the three accounts i have got it at 4......player that like the dog betting a lot on cleveland...early in the week....the bookie adjust the line....base on the bets that are coming in....

I TOOK 10 BOOKS...ODDS ON THIS GAME.. 2 AT -3 1/2 .........4 AT -4..... 4 AT -4 1/2 RIGHT NOW.....

CLE MONEY COMING IN EARLY .....PITT MONEY COME IN LATER.......ITS NOT ABOUT THE NUMBER OF BET ON ONE SIDE

ITS THE MONEY THAT MOVES IT......

I SEE THIS GAME GOING OFF AT GAME TIME PIT -4 1/2......

3 1/2...4.....4 1/2.....5......5 1/2......ITS ALL THE SAME

FG=3....TD =7.........POINT MATTER AT-7 & -3 MORE

THE LAST 3 WEEKS..........3 OUT OF 42 GAMES THE POINTS MATTER.....THAT 7% OF THE GAME....

DONT BET ANY GAME BASE ON THE POINT......

JUST PICK THE BEST TEAM.........

THEY BEATING 2 UNDEFEEATED TEAMS IN A ROW.....

WHY IS EVERYBODY SAYING "LET DOWN"

ARE YOU SAYING THAT PIT CANNOT WIN 3 GAME IN A ROW.......

PIT HAS WON THE POINT SPREAD THE LAST 6 WEEKS...

SHOW ME SOMETHING ABOUT CLE......
I am new here and I just wanted to add my two cents.

Hmmmm lets see. You want someone to show you what Cleveland has done. They have played 4 home games this year. They are 3-1 at home and 4-0 ATS. They beat Baltimore outright 20-3 on opening day (best bet of the year so far), they Beat Cincy 34-17, Washington 17-13 (no great shakes) and should have beat Philadelphia, but lost in OT 34-31. They would have forced OT last week, in Baltimore, had the Cleveland TE remembered catching the ball is key, especially in the end zone. They lost to Pitt in Pitt 34-23.
The line means alot whether its 1 or 12. When the ALL MIGHTY Steelers are ONLY favored by 4 or 3.5 against a clown team like the Browns it SHOULD open eyes....It wouldnt surprise me if the Browns won this game outright or lost on a LATE FG.....
The Browns will go 0-8 on the road and 0-8 ATS on the road, but at home they are a completely different team.

This is just my humble opinion. I hope I didnt offend anyone.
