Great job and keep posting cause you are the best this site EVER had in football.. If everything went according to the books their wouldn't be gambling cause EVERYONE would win. I apologize..

for my classless remark yesterday. Just frustrated that the damn packers didn't cover and after a few beers I decided to take it out on ACE.

A$$hole thing to do I admit and I apologize. I hope it's accepted.

 

I've been perusing this site since 2000 whilst working in CR for an offshore. The number of people reading these posts far outweigh those writing them. I can promise that ACE ACE is widely respected and even admired by many of us guys who really just do this for fun, regardless is we bankroll $500 for the season for $50K.

ACE ACE, there is no reason to explain your year, obviously you have done very well. But you can expect a wee bit of contraversy when your getting 20,000 hits per thread that for the most are not pro gamblers in way shape or form, thier recreational gamblers and you know what I mean, recreational. These are the people that feed the books, I've seen it for many years and we'll see it for many more. The problem is money management and no matter how many times you explain it people just don't understand it, above is a good example where this guy gets mad at you and then apologizes because he was a liitle drunk and frustrated in his earlier post. People see your post and your wagers and they jump the gun and lose all thier money, they don't have the resources you do and it's killing them. Personally I'm a flat bettor and even a weekend like this one where I got killed (not one win,yikes) will bury alot of rec gamblers. I advocate flat betting and research in any form for a long and prosperous carreer in this line of work. You have to feel comfortable with your loss or your betting over your head, plain and simple. Money Management is the key!

Ace, good luck the rest of the way better things are coming I'm sure.

Ace, Bad week huh. I didn't follow all your picks because I did not see any real value in any of them. It looked like you were just betting to just bet. When your up the kind of money you are its easy to start blowing on games you would normally not play (no play is a win). Maybe you'll see some better value in the games this weekend. I still love your insights on the games and still consider you the best capper in this forum. I've just learned not to bet on just any game, but to look for the best valued game you have posted. If I don't like them I'll either bet small or I don't bet. Don't get me wrong it's hard not to bet but I've taken your advise on MONEY management and its been working. Ace-Ace I am in the brokerage business and its the same thing what did you do for me lately. I am a small recreational bettor and have enjoyed your site and made a few bucks on your ideas. Only question I had in the teaser which lost with Denver +20 woudnt Indy at even be a safer play? Did you really think Denver would win? Just curious.
By the way I asked if you use your system of results vs spreads elsewhere and you mentioned you wer going to try in college football. I went back and looked at it in the NBA and the numbers go from +100 to minus 35 type of thing so I think it is to wide a spread to be meanigful there. Also one bad game and you can swing 35 points or so.

Ace...I am a rec bettor and have had lots of fun reading your posts, and getting alot of helpful insight the past 8 or 9 weeks. Of course I have made some money too. But thanks to you and your time.

I got burnt last week, but hey you got ot lose sometimes, otherwise their would be no gambling. There are some great fans here. Very intelligent compared to some of the things that are seen on other forums...especially sportsline. Thanks again ACE, and everyone else who dedicates so much time.
