I think the premise of my comment was that some work will come back to the US, rather than moving from China to another country, because the US will mandate that a percentage of essential items must be made in the US. That would eliminate country shopping and promote US manufacturing including drugs. I'm not being totally naive in thinking prices will be stable, but I do think innovation and robotics will mean that 100 people working in China will convert to only needing 50-60 in the US which will mitigate a small percentage of the added labor costs. Besides all of that, on Shark Tank they won't be able push every product to China so Lori Greiner can buy a new ugly dress.

I heard some stat on the percentage of drugs made in China it was almost unbelievable Logically we should never have so much of something important being manufactured out of the country. The reason it happens is $$$$. The executive of those companies make more money by cutting costs and making bigger profits.

I have a saying that if your rationale on some subject is $$$$ then you are probably on the wrong side of the argument. It really doesnt matter what the subject is. Making more money doesnt mean that it is the right thing to do.

yupper, called out amzn in another thread, intuitively was a no brainer. Not really the long term stock picker type, i'll leave 'fundamental analysis ' to the dart throwers. Certainly didnt see a break to highs!! Did like ZOOM as well, they had bigtime tech., issues and looked like they were going to blow a golden opportunity . Have they righted the ship? Chart suggests yes, full disclosure . have no position
