California once again ranked No. 1 among the 50 states for the percentage of its residents 25 and older who have never completed ninth grade and 50th for the percentage who have at least graduated from high school, according to new five-year estimates (2014-2018)

so not only are their students uneducated retards but now it will be illegal to discipline them in California! ha ha ha...fn love it. So don't hand out discipline through 8th grade then the little dolts drop out of school. I can't grasp how this could possibly relate to so many poor and homeless in one state. hmm

California public schools can’t suspend students for disobeying teachers, new law says

SACRAMENTO (KRON) — New laws taking effect in 2020 will impact schools across California. Starting next school year, it will be illegal for public schools in the state to suspend students in first through fifth grade for willfully defying teachers or administrators.
Then, from 2021 through 2025, it will be temporarily extended to kids in grades six through eight.

Supporters say suspensions for willful defiance are disproportionately used against students of color. puff_>>

Another new law — a mandatory change to school start times. The law is set to be phased in over the next three years. High schools can start no earlier than 8:30 a.m., and no sooner than 8 a.m. for middle schoolers.

The controversial measure could be costly, state legislative analysts have said some schools may end up spending millions to accommodate the adjustment.

Drag Queen Story Hours aren’t just perverted, psychologically abusive reading programs targeted at young children.
As PJ Media points out, they’re also obscenely expensive, and, when they’re held in public libraries, guess who pays for them? The taxpayer, whether they like it or not.
In Chula Vista, California, taxpayers are stuck paying tens of thousands of tax dollars to ensure that these events proceed undisturbed.
According to Arthur Schaper of MassResistance, the city paid out over $42,000 for police protection at these events due to their extreme unpopularity with local residents and the tendency of LGBT counter-protesters to escalate tension

The problem is, these maggots fleeing California, are mostly moving to Texas because of our great economy, but the
fuckers are still voting DemoScum and trying to turn Texas blue, like they did California.

https://www.foxnews.com/media/2020-election-texas-trump-california
[h=1]The surprising impact that Californians flooding Texas may have on 2020 electionThe latest Census Bureau data shows that more than 86,000 California residents moved to Texas in 2018 alone and that's raising the question of whether or not they are bringing their politics with them ahead of the 2020 presidential election.[/h]"While Texas might not typically be thought of as a swing state, fresh polling shows the 2020 race getting potentially close," said Fox News contributor and pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson on her new Fox Nation show "What Are The Odds?"

A CNN poll of Texans, conducted in early December, showed President Trump statistically tied with former Vice President Joe Biden in a hypothetical 2020 matchup.
"In 2018, there were 86,164 Californians who moved to the state of Texas," said Soltis Anderson, noting that many new residents are being enticed by a booming economy in the Lone Star state.
"On the one hand, the economy being good — you would think would benefit Republicans. On the other hand, if Texas, in particular, is really good and folks are coming from blue states to red, does that make Texas potentially more of a pickup target for Democrats in 2020?" she asked her guest Chris Wilson, a former Ted Cruz campaign pollster and CEO of WPA Intelligence.

Wilson said that is a phenomenon that he is watching very closely in his role as a pollster for Texas Governor Gregg Abbott.
"We've done some pretty in-depth look at people who are moving into the state," he revealed. "I'll give an example — Ted Cruz won by more [in the 2018 midterm election against former Rep. Beto O'Rourke, D-Texas] with new voters into Texas than he did with voters who had been in Texas for their entire lives."
Video

"What we find is that in that first election, they cast a vote in, yes, they tend to be a little more Democratic than they do Republican," he continued. "But the next election, and as they vote more and more, they become more Republican... we do find that after three to four elections, as people move in the state, they are highly more likely to be Republican than they are Democrat."
Wilson said he attributed some of that apparent effect to the increased standard of living that the new Texas residents may experience.
"You can imagine you could sell you're a little bitty small home that's jammed in the city in San Francisco and go buy a mega-mansion in Plano, Texas... and have lots of land and go to good schools and not have homeless people leaving hypodermic needles on your front porch. So all these things got to factor into creating a new cultural experience for people as they moved to Texas," Wilson argued.
"So coming to Texas actually converts them to become Republican a little bit along the way?" joked Soltis Anderson.
"They see what good government can do in a governor like Abbott and Republican representation and a good economy," Wilson concluded, "it's amazing the conversion process."

I think Texas turning purple/blue has a lot more to do with a different type of migration pattern.

this crazy state is getting nuttier by the day with new 55 gallon/day water law going into effect imposing $1000 fines in non-drought times, $10,000 fines during drought cycles. This will drop to 52.5 gallons/day in 2025.
)^&&

Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a law which just went into effect that limits personal water usage. People can even be hit with massive fines if they exceed their limit by doing laundry and taking a shower on the same day.
This was recently discussed on KTLA News and the reporters seemed shocked to learn the details.

The Media Times reports:
The blue-collar governments that Californians are constantly voting on may have finally crossed the line, at least that’s what these KTLA news anchors look like.
A video of the show, titled “KTLA 5 Anchors News Morning Get Redpill,” shows complaints discussing the issue at hand, particularly regarding 55 liters of water per day in California.
“I’m not sure how I feel about it,” anchor Jessica Holmes told her co-workers. “You won’t be allowed to shower and do a laundry load on the same day.”
While that may sound crazy, what California Attorney Richard Lee unravels is hypothetical figures.
“Doing a laundry load requires about 40 to 50 liters of water. Showering for about eight minutes uses about 17 liters of water. Well, there is a limit to daily water use, 55 gallons per day. So that means if you are showering and doing a laundry load, you can’t do both without breaking the law…
How they will implement the water budget has not been determined, but they will be subject to monthly reporting requirements and will be fined $ 1000 a day when completed. If they exceed the budget in a dry year, the fine is $ 10,000 each day they spend.

______________________________________________________________________________________

“In preparation for the next drought and our changing environment, we must use our precious resources wisely. We have efficiency goals for energy and cars – and now we have them for water.”
The three main factors used in the new law are, “an allowance of 55 gallons per person per day for indoor water use – dropping to 50 gallons by 2030; a yet-to-be determined amount for residential outdoor use that will vary depending on regional climates; and a standard for water loss due to leak rates in water system pipes.”
The Organic Prepper, analyzed Governor Brown’s new legislation and compared it to common everyday activities such as showering, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
Here is what they came up with:
Now, if you’re wondering where I get my assertion that you can’t shower and do laundry on the same day, here’s some math:

 • An 8-minute shower uses about 17 gallons of water
 • A load of laundry uses about 40 gallons of water
 • A bathtub holds 80 to 100 gallons of water
 • A dishwasher uses 6 gallons of water
There are also standards to be established for outdoor use such as landscaping, caring for livestock, and gardening, but those numbers don’t seem to be available at this time. Maybe Californians just get to wait in suspense to see if their chickens are allowed to have water on the same day as their vegetables.
If your daily water use exceeds the 55 gallon limit, there will be a fine for each violation day. The bill states:
(1) If the violation occurs in a critically dry year immediately preceded by two or more consecutive below normal, dry, or critically dry years or during a period for which the Governor has issued a proclamation of a state of emergency under the California Emergency Services Act (Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 8550) of Division 1 of Title 2 of the Government Code) based on drought conditions, ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for each day in which the violation occurs.
(2) For all violations other than those described in paragraph (1), one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each day in which the violation occurs.

California Water Infected With Increasing Fecal Bacteria As Democrats Allow Homeless Crisis to Worsen

573d6c7c5734056ea67abcccae1fcfce
by Brock Simmons January 11, 2020 71 Comments

It’s always entertaining to see diametrically opposing leftist movements collide with one another. Now we have the environmental groups squaring off against the homeless advocacy groups, as California’s homeless crisis is leading to mass contamination of the rivers and streams. Rather than going through sewage treatment, human waste from the homeless is ending up directly in the water ways.

California Health Line reports:

“We should all work together to clean up these hazardous waste and homeless sites before the whole city rots away,”
Trump tweeted about San Francisco on Oct. 26. “Very bad and dangerous conditions, also severely impacting the Pacific Ocean and water supply.”

San Francisco officials were quick to dispute Trump’s claims. But some of California’s most prized rivers, beaches and streams are indeed contaminated with levels of fecal bacteria that exceed state limits, threatening kayakers, swimmers — and the state’s reputation as a bastion of environmental protection.

The presence of fecal bacteria in water is usually the result of problems with sewer systems and septic tanks. But water quality officials agree that the source of at least some of the fecal bacteria is California’s growing homeless population, most of whom don’t have reliable access to toilets.

“I’ve carried 5-gallon buckets that were unambiguously being used as toilets,” said David Gibson, executive officer of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board, describing his experience cleaning up homeless encampments. “They were taking it to the San Diego River, dumping it there, and rinsing it out there.”

Fecal contamination of waterways is a widespread problem and becoming more urgent
in states with large homeless populations. In Seattle, homeless people living in RVs are accused of dumping raw sewage straight into storm drains, which flows directly to local waterways. In Oregon, workers cleaning up homeless camps along the Willamette River in Eugene routinely find feces and needles.

The Trump administration has fixated on California’s homeless population in particular as a potent source of pollution.

In addition to Trump’s tweets, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
sent a letter to California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Sept. 26 alleging that the state’s lack of urgency on homelessness threatens public health by polluting nearby water with untreated human waste. It then issued a notice to San Francisco accusing it of violating the federal Clean Water Act.

Jared Blumenfeld, secretary of the California Environmental Protection Agency,
responded by accusing the federal EPA of retreating on clean water protection, and called the administration’s focus on the environmental impact of homelessness “sensationalized” and “misguided.”

When it comes to water, scientists look for E. coli and other bacteria to determine levels of fecal contamination. While E. coli is present in both human and animal feces, human fecal contamination is particularly dangerous because it can transmit diseases that affect people, including hepatitis A and cholera.

Most people are not at risk of getting sick unless they drink the water, or if pathogens enter open cuts or sores, said Richard Ambrose, a professor in the department of environmental health sciences at UCLA. Homeless people face the highest risk because they are more likely to wash or wade in the water and have less access to toilets and showers, he said.

in Sacramento, regulators have been measuring elevated fecal bacteria levels in the lower American River for more than three years. Located near downtown Sacramento, it is a popular destination for water sports, even as hundreds of homeless people camp nearby.

Some recreational areas, including Tiscornia Beach, where families picnic, BBQ and wade in the river, had
E. coli levels so high in the past year that they hit the upper limits of what the water board’s laboratories could measure — more than seven times higher than the state standard, said Adam Laputz, assistant executive officer of the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board.

Contamination from homeless camps is so easy to observe — and smell — that there is no “need to monitor to know there’s a problem,” said Thomas Mumley, executive officer of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board, which stretches from Napa County to Santa Clara County.

If there are no bathrooms in or near a homeless encampment, “we can assume there’s a discharge of waste” where there shouldn’t be, he said.

This past October,
the Environmental Protection Agency sent a nastygram to San Francisco officials, naming all of the regulations that the liberal utopia is in violation of.

MEANWHILE, Governor Newsom proudly proclaims California to be the most un-Trump state, while also announcing a budget to address homelessness.
