Sumday, in my opinion youre too hard on yourself. the highlighted part is what gambling is all about. Nice.

Gambling for gambling sakes is sad at least you spend the money. work on your time management and include time for shooting hoops friends etc. i do all my capping early early morning 5:30 am or late late evening. I watch some games but mostly not (only the end, the rest is too stressful). check scores at the end of the day and if i have a winning week i treat myself to clothes and toys. I envy the bold part above. Good Luck.

P.S. nothing as sweet as spending won money

Alright. Makes sense. Especially the part about time management. Thanks.

You're just like 99% of gamblers. 99% of gamblers lose because they cannot deal with the emotions. They lay off a game and they are pissed they didn't bet the easy winner. They lose a game and they are pissed they lost. They chase and are pissed when they lose that one. Then they feel guilt for being so stupid, but the still can't control their desire to make up for their stupidity. Or they win and they feel good.....for about 2 minutes. Then the good feelings go away and they are back to being bored with life. Or they get greedy because the winning wasn't enough.

Bottom line is that winning is easy, if you can separate yourself from you emotions. How hard is it to flat bet and hit 53%, if you have a clue? It's not hard at all. But with emotions, i.e. being human.....it's nearly impossible to win in the long run. Because emotions will beat you on every level. The good ones and the bad ones. You go 7-0 on Sat and think this game is so easy. Then the next week you go 0-7 and can't remember what it feels like to win a bet. It's amazing how easy it is to lose when you are emotionally out of control. And most gamblers are emotionally out of control 100% of the time, even if they aren't actually on tilt.

Just give it up and be happy with life. Or bet for fun and bet amounts small enough that you ultimately don't really care that much about winning and losing. Because gamblers lose money and bookies win, and that's the way that gambling goes.
