Key points here are that Valetta will play on artificial turf and the temperature will be in the mid 80's. Both factors are major negatives for St Pats. It's surprising to see quite a tasty dnb here for Valetta still around 1.95+ at most books.

It would be a major achievement for the Irish side to get the win they need here. Good chances of home win or at worst money back.

A note on the steamers i see being referred too earlier in the thread, basically this is the bigger players getting involved...essentially the limits are so restricted pre match on matches like this, that the only chance of getting more serious money on is to wait for the live betting. This doesn't necessarily mean these moves are any more well informed btw....

That's good information regarding the artificial turf. Costa Rica plays their matches on artificial turf and have a decided advantage as they have not lost at home in quite some time. Let's face it, teams are just not used to playing on such a surface and the strength of their passes must be changed, sometimes dramatically.

As far as the steam goes, in matches previous to today I am thinking that prices change quite a bit once the lineup is announced shortly before the match and that is why we are seeing the steam so close to the match starting. We are still seeing some line movement hours before these matches today. I'm thinking that is because people are getting money down on matches that are decidedly one-sided.
