Finland - Ykkönen
AC Oulu -0.5 2.02 over Atlantis FC Helsinki
Atlantis has failed to score in 7 of their last 10 matches. Oulu is on top of the league and are being chased by Viikingit who are 1 point back and are playing at home. Oulu has outscored their opponents 9-2 in 5 road matches. However, they have won their last 3 on the road.

Going with a rare 2-team parlay here for 1 unit-

Finland - Veikkausliiga
FC Haka Valkeakoski -0.5 over KooTeePee Katka
Norway - Tippeligaen
Tromsø IL -0.5 over Hamarkamaratene
Risking 1 unit to win 0.81 units.

KTP has lost all 6 of their road matches in the Veikkausliiga this year. Of Haka's home matches they have won 4, lost 1, and had 1 draw. They are 2 points out of 3rd place in the league.

HamKam has lost all but one of their 7 road matches and are at the bottom of the league. Tromsø has won their last 4 matches in a row.

Looks like Oulu and Haka were willing to settle for a draw.

Oulu 1, Atlantis 1, Loss, -1.00
Tromsø 2, HamKam 1/Haka 1, KTP 1, Loss, -1.00

My Kalmar pick from above plays on Monday along with the following 2 matches.

Sweden - Allsvenskan
Helsingborgs IF -0.5 2.10 over Djurgårdens IF
Well I got bit a couple times on Sunday with teams that were toward the top of their respective leagues and didn't win. I'm hoping that doesn't happen here with Helsingborg. Djurgården has lost 5 out of their last 6 league matches.

Sweden - Superettan
Qviding FIF Goteborg pk 2.15 over Landskrona BoIS
Qviding has not lost at home all year and just beat 4th place Mjallby in their last home match.

QL, jw if you have noticed any negative performances because some of these teams are also in the middle of uefa qualifying tournaments and playing 2-3 games in a weeks time vs more rested teams

Yes, I have noticed this. In post #152 I mentioned where Elfsborg lost their match on the weekend before having a midweek Intertoto match. This gives us the perfect opportunity to bet on them in their league match the following weekend.

I call these opportunities "Bad-Beat Bounce-Back Bets" or "Killer Bees". We have one potential opportunity with this type of bet with Haka Valkeakoski as they are a top team that had a draw with the worst team. It all depends on their next opponent.

3-0 Kalmar at the half.

I hope I didn't jinx our bets.

SWEEP!!!

Kalmar 3, Malmö 2, WINNER, +0.75
Crap. I almost jinxed us.

Helsingborg 2, Djurgården 0, WINNER, +1.10

Qviding 5, Landskrona 0, WINNER, +1.15
Qviding fits another system I've been looking at (outside of the Killer Bees system). It's when a team improves. The books don't react in time to make an accurate line. I made lots of money following Nijmegen after they performed poorly early in the season and then improved later on. Qviding fits this model as well. The Atlanta team in the WNBA also fits this model.

Nice calls today QL. Only one I disagreed with you on was Helsingborg and I passed so I'm glad I was wrong and you were right. I also took the over in the Kalmar game along with the side.

I was all over the board today with bets in Japan, Singapore, Slovakia (or was it Slovenia?), Sweden, Iceland, Finland, and Ireland. Lots of good action out there on a "slow" sports day.

Kalmar and Malmö play in Malmö on Sunday. I'm seeing 2.70 for Kalmar on the 3-way line. I'm thinking the reason this is so high is because Kalmar has a UEFA Cup match on Thursday of the following week.

However, this match is the 2nd leg against Racing FC Union Lëtzebuerg which Kalmar beat 3-0 in Lëtzebuerg. I'm thinking that Kalmar will want the league win even though they have a UEFA Cup match since they will be at home for the UEFA match and can lose by 2 and still advance. This 2.70 price is a good price IMO.

Thanks GD. I didn't see this until now since you and I posted at roughly the same time.

Finland - Veikkausliiga
VPS Vaasa +0.5 2.14 over TPS Turku
I just don't understand this line. I've checked and don't see any suspensions or injuries for Vaasa. They have only lost once in their last 12 matches. Turku, on the other hand, lost 4 in a row until they beat the worst team in the league KooTeePee in their last match.

:think2:

Perhaps Turku is getting too much respect being at home. Vaasa started out poorly in the beginning of the league this year. In their first 4 matches they won 0, lost 1 and drew 3. Since then they have won 6, lost 1 and drew 3. THis fits my system that I mentioned in post #170 in this thread.

Well the wheels fell off the bus in the 2nd half for Vaasa. It was tied at the 53' mark.

Seems like I'm taking 3 steps forward, 2 steps back, 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Oh well, as long as the forward steps outnumber the backward steps.

Going with somewhat of a repeat of last Sunday. Let's hope it turns out better on Thursday.

Norway - NM Cupen
Tromsø IL -0.5 2.16 over Vålerenga IF Oslo
Tromsø beat HamKam last weekend 2-1 with a goal in the 83rd minute. I believe they were playing down to the Tipeligaen's worst team to rest for this match. Tromsø has won 7 out of their last 8 and are at home for this match. They are 2-0 in the Cupen tournament.

Vålerenga has won 3 matches on the road in the league this year, however they were against teams in the bottom 5 positions in the league. They have lost 5 road matches in the league.

Finland - Ykkönen
AC Oulu -0.5 1.61 over TP 47 Tornio
Oulu is the league leader but only lead Viikingit by 1 point. They are going to want to bounce back after their draw last weekend against Atlantic. This is a lower grade example of a bounce-back play.

TP 47 has 0 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses in their last 4 matches in the league and have only scored 6 goals in their 12 league matches.
