gl QL ... was taking a look at the Raith match myself as their preseason results were excellent and then started the regular season in D2 off with an away win. Always tough to figure how a team will do away to a club a division above them though.

WINNER! My books didn't have the +0.5 option so I took the X2 separately.

I've been watching these lines for the Scottish leagues. I'm thinking the bettors for these games know what they are doing by betting on bad lines from the books since a lot of last weekend's matches went according to line movement.

I'm going to have to watch more of your picks. You seem to know a bit about these teams.

i started working on a contract in stranraer (scotland) now. so i should get a good feel for what they are doing in these lower leagues..tonight i am going to watch the cup match Stranraer-Monroese (both 3rd scottish division)..it the first time i am going to a match here.it should be possible to make some money out of these lower division when you actually see the teams playing and can get a goof feeling for it..
for tonight i am on the home team stranraer -0.5,-1 @2.05 i think they are the better team and they are off a great start in the season

That sounds like fun. How do you like Scotland?

I'm trying to get a handle on these line movement things. On the 8th I was noticing that most books had the line moving higher for East Fife so I thought maybe more people were betting on Queen of the South. So then I saw that Queen of the South is a Division 1 team and East Fife is a Division 3 team so I thought people were betting on Queen for that reason. Then Queen loses.

I noticed the same thing for Arbroath and Albion. Both are in Division 3 but Albion had won their last match in the Cup and Arbroath had lost. So Arbroath gets up 4-0.

One more example, the line moves higher against KTP in the Finland Veikkausliiga and lower for Inter Turku. So I think Inter has more people betting on them. I look at their respective records and find that KTP has a good home record and Inter has a bad road record. So I check the message boards and everyone is surprised at this line and no one has any info. Inter wins 2-0 on the road.

:WTF:

Gonna have to continue with my favorite here even though they haven't been going over the last 2 matches.

Östers IF Växjö/Bunkeflo IF under 2.5 2.14 (Pinnacle)
Östers scored 3 goals last home match so people are looking at the over. However, prior to that Östers had only scored 1 goal in 6 home matches and has only given up 6 goals in 7 home matches.

One odd note regarding line movement, the odds for Östers are dropping. I believe this is due to their 3-0 win last home match. I believe this is an over-reaction since they have been terrible at home before that.

Atvidabergs FF -0.25 1.80 over Örgryte IS (bet365)
Atvidabergs suffered their first home loss against Norrköping last time out. They will be looking to get back in the winning column against Örgryte who will be short a few players due to suspensions/injuries.

IFK Norrköping -0.75 1.75 over Enköpings SK (Pinnacle)
Classic example of a mismatch here. Enköpings is not that much better at home with 5 wins and 4 losses.

Enköpings SK/IFK Norrköping over 2.75 1.88 (bet365)
I've lost track of how many times Norrköping has gone over while only failing to go over once.

Ljungskile SK -0.5 1.83 Jönköpings Södra (Pinnacle)
Ljungskile a good home team.

QL, Enkopings also with many players missing with injuries and suspensions. At some point Norrkoping's motivation will come into play but should roll Enkopings today. GL!

GIF Sundsvall -0.5 1.99 over IF Sylvia (Pinnacle)
Sundsvall is one of the best road teams in the league while Sylvia is the worst and is in the midst of a 3-match slide.

Recent acquisition Niklas Klingberg, Sergiy Mytin, Johan Johansson, Jonas Forsberg, Mats Lundin and the goalkeeper Nicklas Bergh all will be missing for Enköpings.

Mats Lundin? haha just like Sundin.

You have any opinion on the Carling Cup match today, quantum? I think Im leaning towards Peterbrough but the odds are dropping. Its tough looking at last weekends results and then considering Peterbrough is two divisions below Southampton.

That's who I thought of as well. They're both from Sweden.

I've been rather busy lately so I've only looked at Superettan and only this morning so I have no opinion on the Carling Cup matches.
