sorry have to believe joe pa himself- i should've done moreI think Joe Pa never suspected any such criminal activity was being conducted by a good friend of his. Just like I believe Bernie Madoff's kids had no idea their father was running such a scam.
Madoff's kids were asked by regulators how did they NOT know, for which they had the perfect response. They asked the regulators, the very people auditing the firm, how did they not know?
I haven't seen one investigator or legal representative connected to the case produce evidence Joe Pa was involved in some sort of cover up, nor was he ever accused of a crime. I do believe it all led to him dying from a broken heart.
Every former player talked about his integrity and his work ethic, they talk about doing things the right way, they talk about the life lessons he taught them, he was obviously a very proud man and that killed him.
Joe Pa was convicted in the court of public opinion, just like Madoff's kids were, the same Kangaroo Court we see being used on a regular basis nowadays. The courts consisting of an always dishonest media and the modern day black plague, social media.

PS: Keith Olbermann is an unhinged fucking idiot, he's been a POS ever since he and Patrick split up. Amazingly he was part of one of the last great on air talent shows ESPN produced, but that was a long long time ago now.
