I haven't seen one investigator or legal representative connected to the case produce evidence Joe Pa was involved in some sort of cover up, nor was he ever accused of a crime. I do believe it all led to him dying from a broken heart.

PS: Keith Olbermann is an unhinged fucking idiot, he's been a POS ever since he and Patrick split up. Amazingly he was part of one of the last great on air talent shows ESPN produced, but that was a long long time ago now.
Hindsight is always 20/20, I'm sure he felt badly and he wishes he did something more. That's human nature, especially from a proud and honorable man.
That statement is just not proof of guilt, but if you want to go there he's said he DIDN'T KNOW on multiple occasions (of course those statements in and by themselves doesn't prove innocence either)

I used to love Keith on Sportscenter (actually, we was 1 of the pioneers when ESPN 2 started with that leather jacket as ESPN tried to go "hip").

The reason its hard to explain all this is because Jerry didn't do what he was found guilty of . It was a public lynching, by the community, the media, the BOT , scumbag attorneys, and paid off therapists

Jack Rossiter, a former FBI agent of 30 years, investigated more than 150 cases of alleged sex abuse as a private detective employed by the Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia between 2003 and 2007.
As far as the Penn State case was concerned, Rossiter was surprised to hear that apparently not one of the 36 alleged victims supposedly told anyone about the attacks when they allegedly occurred -- a period that spanned nearly four decades.
If a pedophile was running loose for that long, "You would think someone would pick it up," Rossiter said. "Either at school or the parents or a close friend."
Rossiter was also troubled by the use of recovered memories by many alleged victims of Sandusky.
"I always have my doubts about that," he said. The radically changing stories of many of the victims was another source of concern for an investigator playing defense on claims. Rossiter said he couldn't understand why the university didn't do more to investigate claims of abuse.
