i agree...what the hell does tom brady have to do to get respect? seriously.

to put manning ahead of brady because he passes for more yards is just punishing brady because his team has a defense.

My List:

1. Brady, perfect fit for this team (winner).
2. Manning, if starting a team today, how many
do you take ahead of him.
3. Mcnair, Heart and Soul personified..
4. Favre, one of the greats and still hanging on
5. Mcnaab, better start proving it.
6. Green, needs to put a few seasons together.
7. Culpepper.
Newcomers: Pennington, Vick, Leftwich, Palmer,

I'm not saying they aren't superb QB's. I'm just saying they aren't the gods everyone thinks they are. I always thought that Elway, Marino and Steve Young were better than Montana and I think that Manning, Favre and Vick are better than Brady.

Brady did what he did without a feature back, not surrounded with great talent at all ...The guy came from nowhere is why he gets less respect than say Peyton Manning...

At Michigan he looked like a decent NFL backup at best, two Super Bowls later he still is somewhat overlooked...

Brady just turned 27 and has two rings and could be back again 2-3 more times very realistically...already done what few have..

Bradshaw
Montana
Elway
Starr
Brady

right on Jman, at this point in time.. Brady, Manning and Mcnair separate themselves from the rest, Favre has just slipped a little much..

I agree with the top 5. My only complaint, Vick should be number 6 or even 5.

5 - Pennington
4 - Favre (if he played the Bears every week, he would be #1)
3 - Manning
2 - Brady
1 - McNair

McNair is the heart and soul of that team. Volek is a good backup but they are not a playoff team with him in there every week.

brady will nevr win another SB in a starter role. the NFL doesnt applaud and cater to loophole advantage takers.

the new rules will expose the pats and take out the brainiac coaching nonsense and the more talented teams will be more talented teams.

the title should never ever go to a less talented group abusing rules, but i applaud taglibue for ammeding this. though, i feel his celebration rules are a bit too much.

No doubt, and I have said this before the position is in sad shape overall....look at the position 10-15 years ago compared to now....The league can't even fill each team with a quality QB...just look at Dallas ...

JMAN,

10-15 years ago, there were teams without a decent quarterback as well...
