I know we have to protect women. I have a young daughter and three sisters but C'mon. This young lady seems to have ruined this young mans life. Now she's not going to press charges...I wonder if they will kick her out of school?I was just reading an ESPN article about the UF Freshman QB and how the victim may have been the aggressor. Based on what the lawyers are saying, the kid has been completely cooperative with the police (wish Jameis had done this) including letting them take items from his room and providing samples for them. Really puts UF in a bad spot. They want to protect women but it the woman is at fault and crying wolf here, they just suspended an innocent kid who will never get his reputation back. On top of that, without him at QB, they'll lose again

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The sexual battery complaint against Florida quarterback Treon Harrishas been withdrawn by his accuser, the university said Friday.
[+] Enlarge Mark LoMoglio/Icon SportswireAttorneys say the woman claiming she was sexually assaulted has withdrawn her complaint against Florida quarterback Treon Harris.
"This means she is not pursuing criminal charges against him at this time but maintains the right to do so in the future," school spokeswoman Janine Sikes said in a statement.
Florida will have more information on Harris' football status later in the day, Sikes said.
Harris, 19, was suspended by Florida and the University Athletic Association on Monday when university police began an investigation into an accusation that Harris sexually assaulted a female student at an on-campus residence hall early Sunday morning.
Multiple sources close to the football program told ESPN.com that the accuser is also an athlete at the university.
Harris' attorneys said Thursday that the accuser was "the sexual aggressor with not one, but two, young men last Sunday morning" and that the woman showed "no indication of any physical or mental trauma" after the alleged incident.
Under Florida law, the woman could be charged with a misdemeanor if police believe she filed a false police report.
Huntley Johnson, who represents Harris, told ESPN earlier that his client intends to stay at Florida.
Harris, a true freshman, came off the bench and rallied the Gators to a 10-9 victory at Tennessee on Oct. 4. He has been placed on an "interim suspension," which bans him from campus and all team activities. He is allowed to take online courses.
