I can't wait for this brave truth teller to "go public"!

Since his absurd salary is at risk, I'm guessing he won't say anything about this at all.

Can't believe how much attention this ray rice thing has gotten. They has gotten more espn attention than peterson's child abuse.

He definitely wouldn't be a nobody w/o ESPN.

He had a huge following even before he went to ESPN from the Digital City Boston/AOL keyword days.

ESPN is notorious for underpaying their top talent and they give him 5mill a year and his own website, tells you all you need to know about his following.

I usually don't care for anything Boston, but I love Bill Simmons. He is a degenerate who likes to drink and smoke. He pumps out huge articles is no time.

[h=1]ESPN Decides Not to Renew Bill Simmons' Contract[/h]
ESPN president John Skipper said in the following statement released Friday morning that the sports network decided not to renew Bill Simmons' contract.
Read the full statement below.
“I decided today that we are not going to renew Bill Simmons’ contract. We have been in negotiations and it was clear it was time to move on. ESPN’s relationship with Bill has been mutually beneficial - he has produced great content for us for many years and ESPN has provided him many new opportunities to spread his wings. We wish Bill continued success as he plans his next chapter. ESPN remains committed to Grantland and we have a strong team in place.”

They're gonna keep Grantland as is. It was a loss leader with his ability to drive readership. Without him, it will become even more of a loss leader.

They got some great writers/analysts.

Barnwell and Zach Lowe are two of the better writers out there imo. No fluff pieces about lebrons head band and the like.
