If you figure 13 weeks of cfb, your talking about about $8 bucks a week. To me well worth it. Love it when Hawaii is on Gameplan at 11:30 and want a little late action.

Too bad Hawaii is isn't on FSW2 anymore, I miss those 4:00 AM finishes.

Been ordering pay-per-view since 1994. Always been worth it.

The best game I have still seen was the first game I ever saw on PPV. Florida vs Auburn -1994.

2 questions
1. For ABC does it show the other 330 games that arent in your region? Is this every sat. I guess my question is if I get it can i watch every abc game regardless of region on saturdays?

With Gameplan, yes. Living in the Big 10 region, I get the 3:30 Big 10 game on regular ABC. Gameplan will show the other 4-5 games (Pac 10, ACC, etc.)
2. Anyone know if its the same price for comcast cable? Unfortunately I have 4 tvs setup in the living room but only two boxes so only two tvs will get the gameplan

I have Directv, but I believe it is the same price whether it is Comcast or DTV.

The price did not bother me at all, but the games offered are really not that appealing... Love college football, but the selection of games blows if you ask me..... FullCourt was a way better investment in my opinion.. GL --- too many HORRIBLE games for me to get it again

yes you would

that's a big reason I have it...hate the big 10 3:30 game and have very little interest watching Penn St play Indiana so I pull up the gameplan and usually get something like BYU v Utah or Missouri v Kansas, etc....or the Pac 10 game on regional ABC

also get the plan so I can watch the Bama games not on cbs, espn, or jp sports...

Also good to get the later games like 9:00 starts from UTEP or 10:00 Wash st

Because that 3:30 time slot has some great games I never get to see. Especially the Big 12. all I get is Big 10. Would love to see OU, Huskers, Tx etc.! May try it this yr. Wk by wk might be better, as some weeks have nothing I want to see.

with the advent of the Big10 network, fewer games are on Gameplan from that conference

as other conference make their own network, Gameplan will become useless. until that time it's still pretty good for the price.

looking at the 1st weekend , it looks like the game plan schedule for it is going to be crap and i think the big 10 games have to be on ABC or espn nationally to be shown by espn now , i dont think those games are on game plan

While we're on the subject of TV, this is the best site I know of for the full schedule of college games on TV:

Live games:

http://www.lsufootball.net/tvschedule.htm

All televised games are listed with the network(s), cross-referenced to the channel numbers on DirecTV and DishNetwork. The schedule archives will show you what was available on Game Plan in the past.

Replays:

http://www.lsufootball.net/tvschedule-replays.htm

Right now, it looks like LSU/Florida 2005 is on channel 613. Then UT/UGA 2001 is up next. That'll get you fired up for the season.

Yes, I have 4 TVs setup in the same room to watch gameplan on, with 4 different boxes.
