My take:

We (Ole Miss) are ready to win big on Defense. We flat out fly to the ball and the secondary has been lockdown all year... IMO the offense isn't championship caliber. Sure I think we will win some games against some good teams this year but not on Saturday. Our Oline and QB haven't shown me that were consistent enough. Bo is either great or awful. He looked awful against Memphis Saturday. With Alabama coming off a bye week you can only imagine what Saban and Smart are going to throw at him. Our run game isn't up to par either. That means this game will be put in Bo's hands. Unfortunately I don't think he can continually make the correct choices against that defense. I believe our Defense will keep us in it but in the long run I don't think our offense will make enough plays to win the game. We would have to have 1 or no turnovers to have a shot. 24-7 Bama.

Thats coming from a die hard Rebel who would love to come back in here and eat crow Saturday night.

P.S.- Don't ask me about this game Saturday morning because I will tell you that we're going to kick Bamas ass then. Lol

When all is "said & done", this will be a quintessential Southeastern Conference football game; Plenty of pre-game hype, great food on the tail-gates, lots of "Jack Daniels" before and during the game (amazing how the fans are able to get the "Holy Water" past security) and lots of hard-hitting football and...... plenty of "post-mortems" when the game is over. A game like this in Oxford is what College Football is all about.......Me? I'm going to take the points.....I'm a sentimental old-fool. I remember Johnny Vaught's 1947 SEC championship team led by All-American QB Charlie Connerly who went on to NYG fame. Win, lose, or draw, i will be a great game to watch. Good luck to all.

I should of of said our rotation of backs. I would take Henry, Yeldon, and Drake over any other teams 3 back set. Gurley/Gordon may be better number ones, but I don't think anyone has our depth across the board.

Would rather have UGA three with TG, Michel, Chubb personally but splitting hairs I guess.

Bama isn't as good as recent years on D. Cooper is a stud. Sims will lose some games for the Tide this year.

One thing that nobody seems to talk about is the fact Hugh Freeze is one of the worst in-game coaches in the country. He recruits great, probably runs good practices, prepares well, etc, so I'm not saying he's a terrible coach overall. But when it comes to in-game decision making, he's got a track record of consistently fucking up.

Anyone who has watched Ole Miss games since he's been there should be aware of this fact. It's been blatantly obvious, especially in their bigger games. He has shown an inability to make sound decisions during games with his play calling, timeouts, 4th down decisions, etc.

With that said, there's a lot to like about Ole Miss but I will not put my money on a Bo Wallace - Hugh Freeze led team against Alabama. Not saying they don't cover, win, or even blow them out. Just saying, my money won't be on it. I try not to bet on fuck-ups and Ole Miss has 2 of them.

Nuke he has made some awful in game calls... I do believe he is getting better in game but no where he needs to be.

tough to argue that, nuke. he is a great recruiter and a great game-planner but if things don't go ole miss' way early it's like there is never a plan B. that being said I'm sure he's only used a small portion of the play book with that early schedule so i'm sure he's got some stuff ready for the Tide. That's why i think Q1 is so important to Ole Miss. If they're tied or trailing I just don't see them winning but if they can hit some gadgets and stuff we're not prepared for (which they'll certainly try) and get up 17-3 after Q1, well, game on!

btw i am absolutely ready for either Wallace or Prescott to have the game of their lives this year and beat the Tide. I don't see us going unbeaten (seriously....aTm, MSU, Ole Miss, Ark, LSU, Barn, and east champ? no way) and while I love Prescott i think Wallace is also far more prepared than he was last year after he ran his mouth
