wannabe, in EPL, the bottom 3 teams get sent down...replaced by the top teams in the Coca-Cola Championship (they have playoff system which I won't get into)

almost every league in the world (except MLS and a few others) has relegation/promotion so that clubs like my Pgh Pirates can't hang around collecting MLB TV revenue with the big boys

not every league sends down exactly 3 though...you can see by most any table how many go down. Here's the EPL table and you'll see a line drawn before places 18/19/20. if you finish the year in one of those 3 spots you drop down a division which has a $60-80M impact on your club.

Yes but too predictable. I like to take an established team like Charlton (top 10 the previous year), or middlesboro in this case and fade them all year at a decent price. If you fade a team like Wigan or Derby County your returns will be much less.
