I took the draw. but don't you push that @860 bet if Spurs win by one?

Yes you push but you are taking a huge risk in return for + 860. The chances of Spurs losing or drawing is higher than the return on offer.

I'd much rather the + .5 + 115 thats available.

Where can you bet that?

It's alternative line at 365. It's risky. I'm just...nuts. I don't think Spurs will win by 2-0 but it is too late now. I'm hoping for a miracle now :ohno:

The referee has been fucking awful. There should have been two penalties. One for Man Utd for the foul on Larsson, and the foul by Neville on Chimbonda.

This ref is a cunt. So many bad decisions, wrong bookings, blowing for wrong fouls.

You should know there is no value in betting on spurs hcp's lately, we underperform and underdeliver more than people expect. The fact that there were a few dubious decisions tbh, wouldnt have affected the game at the slightest. Beyond the first 30mins where we (spurs) played decent and the game was fairly end to end, the difference was the composure and use of the ball between spurs and man u. With Gardner at back, we will always concede (remember that everyone), cos that guy is shite. Both teams had a few shouts for a penalty each and man u got the only one, needless to say, Spurs had chances of their own and with Man U going down to 10 men and O'Shea in goal, Keane had a one on one with O'Shea and couldn't even tuck that one away.

Without trying to sound rude or anything, but to waste 2 units no matter what your money management/stakes are on spurs -1 is not gambling to win at all and in most football punters eyes, you are someone who can't be taken seriously. Though im a spurs fan, i can only bring myself to bet on spurs o/u's live and not to bet on any hcp bets for or against us, it is something you should consider with Tottenham and never in a million years spurs -1 vs man u.

Anyone who bets, surely must care about losing their money as well as winning whatever your stakes.

Thankfully I was on Man Utd ML. I do feel for the Spurs backers however in that the opening goal happened to be a dive for a penalty. The referee was poor for both teams today.

I completely agree about Gardner. He is a mess.

Also a Spurs-1 handicap was probably asking too much. But a Spurs PK and -0.5 couldn't really be called a bad play especially considering the nature of Man Utd's first goal. A trend to also note was that the pressure was back on Man Utd to win considering Chelsea's victory at Charton yesterday. There have been moments wherein both Chelsea and Man Utd have failed to step up at important times.

I will write that on the wall and leave it there as long as I'm alive.

Tough loss, but a loss is a loss.

regarding the +860, if Spurs were +360 to win the game OR and to win by more than one goal is +860 then it was overprized, if i could find it from the site i would have nibbled on it. It's not for me to judge people's management of their units because everyone's different, but since we are all here to learn from one another it's good to hear people's view.

Keep your head up Joey.

morning all, im not here to bash, just voicing an opinion thats all. I have lots of friends who work for bookies and mathematician/probability analyst friends who work for sports investment companies and are always talking up value odds but not quite the same as the spurs-1, but for me, theres a thin line between good chance of a result value and small chance of a result value in simple terms. You have to bear in mind though, these might be small fun bets etc...but in the long term, (higher risk bets) they do eat up your pot bit by bit, just like playing poker having your small & big blinds eaten up. Thats my theory anyways.

Another is...Man U will more often than not, have at least 2 goals in their games home or away, but recently dont score early enough, which for over punters out there who havent caught the odds early enough, take a piece before kickoff, wait for live (if your watching), cos like i said, they dont score early enough to ruin a live bet if your sharp enough, so you can catch reasonable odds with shorter goal lines....bear that in mind

I'm getting slapped around. I only have about $2000 left to play with and try to get back some of my money.

just a thought: play only 2-3 games from the meat of the card (sat/sun),
at equal unit value (7 or 8 units).

The Prem is very tough to cap. I was getting killed in footie particularly in the Premiership. Like MA says, fixed unit value would be a good idea. I've been playing a lot of games which isn't a good idea, but sticking to fixed stakes.

Good luck Joey. Good news is Charlton travel to Old Trafford on Saturday... time to fade Charlton!

How many Man U players are called up for friendly game? Fergie would be pissed if players are exshauted from int'l duty. Eventhough 6-points lead is a safe cushion but Man slips up, Chelsea would be right at their back.

I'm leaning toward Man U conisdering Charlton's travel record is $hit....
