Enough is Enough "The infamous flag"

These flags happen.every single week in almost every game......if people are calling fixed or going crazy over what happened in the Dallas game, please do the same with other games & be consistent.......

Do I think there was a agenda to have Dallas win the game & move on? Absolutely........the NFL is as shady as the NBA, but its not as bad as the NBA.......

Still tho, Dallas had to convert on 4th & 6 to move on, & w/o scoring, I don't think the refs help would have done much.

Also, Lions on 4th & 1 & punting was definitely the wrong play......you don't punt up 3 in the playoffs......ask Belichick.

Teams that play safe & punt there deserve to lose........the playoffs are a time where the supposed best teams bring out their best, so don't hold back......then again, maybe the Lions coaching staff was bought off or maybe they're just incompetent.........

Blown call? Happens all the time. But this picking up the flag shit is relatively new. Having watched football since the '60s, I can't ever recall one picked up for any reason before the last decade or so, when it's become routine. Used to be, it's thrown, that was it. Right or wrong, it was fishy as hell, and sets a horrible precedent.

picking up a flag after it was confirmed by the ref to the crowd and not calling Bryant for an unsportsmanlike, cannot be lumped together with other bad calls. they did not follow NFL procedure and ignored a blatant violation by Bryant in an officials face. these weren't bad calls, they were travesties that determined the winner of a playoff game.

Should have just been defensive holding, automatic first down, and we could have then seen what Det would have done.

i apologized to you. now you are saying that Detroit having the ball at the 25 would not have put them in the drivers seat. they were winning 20 - 17. Detroit's kicker is money, so most likely is Detroit taking time off the clock and either going up 23-17 or closing out the game with a TD to make it 27-17. then Dallas doesn't get the ball at midfield, instead at the 20 with a TB. 80 yds to win or score a meaningless TD. that's how someone with a football background would look at it. you are saying they might not have scored from the 25. the odds are that would be highly unlikely. i also think you believe Dallas was leading when this happened. that is the only way you would say DET needed 7. you make no sense.

i have seen the Pettigrew play. that would have never been called a penalty. there is not much contact and that flag is usually never flown. the head of the NFL officials agrees with me on every call we have talked about. especially the facemask touch. maybe you should apply for the job. i just think you are a novice fan who never played and thinks he knows something about the game. you don't.

If enough is enough, why start a thread to debate it? I don't mind reading these debates; it is a fascinating discussion, though I tend to side with Detroit fans here that this was a major league screw-up/travesty.

It seems as though enough is not enough.
