-I have a hard time seeing Villa getting off the mat after that 8-0 thrashing they just recieved. That and I do believe that Spurs are a better squad at this time.

- I cannot believe that I'm wagering on a match that involves Liverpool again! I like Stoke to get something in this one, undeafeted at home and Begovic and the defense are brilliant.

Chelsea v. Norwich (+5.13) 1.00 to win 5.13
- I would have been quick to jump on Chelsea in the past. Now, I take a different approach...Norwich. Norwich has won 5 in a row, defeating some quality clubs during those 5. They are very solid on their own grounds. In come Chelseas, very proud of themselves after the 8-0 drubbing of Villa...this match will be differnet in my eyes. Chelsea has one victory in their last 4 league matches. Norwich can be had -1 (-1.18) if you are short on rolling the dice.

-Southampton has lost 6 of their 8 roadies and haven't kept a clean sheet in any of those matches. Stoke is still undeafted at home with 5 wins & 4 draws. I realize that Stoke is without Shawcross and Cameron which is a slight concern for the defense. I'm wagering that Stokes team defense and Begovic will be strongly motivated to build off their solid win v. Liverpool and win this in a tight match. Obviously the DRAW is a concern, I'm a gambler so... * I could have had this @ -1.15, expect the line to trend up.

-wow, thats a lot of bold. Inspite of getting roasted 12-0 during their last two league matches, you'd think Villa would want to show something on their own grounds. Wigan, although down are a prideful club and might feel they can get some points out of a beaten Villa squad. Look for the squads to split and for me to cash.

They have played to under 2.5 goals in the last 7 matches at Villa but considering the desperation by both sides to avoid relegation I was tempted to take the over 2.5 goals and + Odds. Have a feeling both clubs will go for it today.
That being said, I expect a draw as well (2-2) and I have always liked backing a draw wager with a total as insurance.
FYI: Lambert faced Martinez twice last season as Norwich manager and both matches finished 1-1.
