Empty Stadiums ... NFL Is Seriously Concerned, and they should be.

9er fans blaming the heat because of the empty seats. The way the stadium is configured 75% of the stadium is exposed to the sun after any 1pm kickoff. Because the stadium is so brand new, most of the fans are in the concourse watching the game on one of the hundreds of big screen TV's around the stadium. the blame it all on the heat. (fkin 9er fans man. Most of the fans in the SEC sit under the sun but since we're talking Silicon Valley, white collar fans, they're afraid of sitting under the sun)

I'd have to argue that all sports (if you take out the tailgating) is better watching at home if you don't have great seats! Nothing beats first or second row centre ice for a hockey game, or first couple of rows in the nba, but if you don't have good seats you can't really see shit! Plus if you factor in the price of everything and the commute to get down to the game, fuck I'd rather watch it on my 75 inch 4k TV on my sofa drinking all the cold beer and eating what I want and not getting gouged!

MLB is the best sport out of all of them to watch live. And the worst to watch on TV

I know we are comparing apples to orange here...but my home town use to have the most expensive tickets for NHL back when we were a top team in the league and usually winning at home 85% of the time.

Now we are the worst team in the league and they are begging for fans - season ticket holders are quitting on this team prices are dropping.

Bottom line you put a good product on the field people will pay to come - Green Bay - PITT - Denver - NE - Seattle.

You put a Pop warner team on the field and you get what you paid for -

LA was a terrible move, 2 teams in a market that won't support 1 just dumb. Unless they put Jackie Moon in charge of getting fans in the seats, we will continue to see festival seating in the stadiums. Location of stadiums adds insult to injury
